Beelink is preparing a new wave of compact PCs aimed at users who want a small, efficient, and affordable desktop system for everyday computing. The company has reportedly lined up three new mini PC models: the EQ Mini, EQi, and ME Pro-2. All three are built around Intel’s entry-level Core 3 304 processor, part of the Wildcat Lake family.
Intel Wildcat Lake chips are expected to appear in budget-friendly laptops, but these processors also make sense for ultra-compact desktops. Their low-power design, modern platform support, and entry-level performance profile make them suitable for home offices, light productivity, media playback, networking tasks, and compact workstation setups.
The Beelink EQ Mini, EQi, and ME Pro-2 all use the Intel Core 3 304, which is positioned as one of the most basic chips in the Wildcat Lake lineup. The processor features a 1+4-core configuration, combining one Cougar Cove performance core with four Darkmont low-power efficiency cores. This setup is not designed for heavy gaming or demanding creative workloads, but it should be enough for web browsing, document editing, streaming, file management, and lightweight multitasking.
The smallest of the three systems is the Beelink EQ Mini. It is said to come in a compact chassis measuring just 112 x 112 x 37 mm, making it easy to place on a desk, behind a monitor, or in a minimal home office setup. Despite its small size, the EQ Mini is expected to include LPDDR5 memory, UFS 3.1 storage, two M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD slots, two USB4 ports, and a 10 GbE LAN port. It reportedly uses a 45W power adapter, reinforcing its focus on low-power operation.
The Beelink EQi appears to be the more flexible model in the lineup. It is slightly larger than the EQ Mini and offers broader hardware support. This model is expected to support both DDR5 and LPDDR5 memory, giving users more configuration options. Like the EQ Mini, it includes dual M.2 SSD slots and dual USB4 ports, but it upgrades networking with two LAN ports: one 10 GbE and one 2.5 GbE. The EQi is powered by an 85W adapter, suggesting a bit more headroom for connected devices and storage expansion.
The third model, the Beelink ME Pro-2, is aimed at users who want a compact NAS-style storage solution. Unlike the EQ Mini and EQi, the ME Pro-2 has a larger chassis designed to support both 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch storage drives. This makes it a more practical choice for home media servers, backup systems, file sharing, or small office storage. However, it reportedly includes only one M.2 slot for an NVMe SSD. The ME Pro-2 uses a 120W power adapter, which makes sense given its support for larger storage drives.
While all three mini PCs share the same Intel Core 3 304 processor, they target slightly different users. The EQ Mini is the most compact and simple option, ideal for basic desktop use. The EQi is better suited for users who want more connectivity and networking flexibility. The ME Pro-2 is designed for storage-heavy setups where NAS-like functionality matters more than raw computing performance.
Pricing has not been confirmed yet. However, since Wildcat Lake-based laptops are expected to start below $600, these Beelink mini PCs could arrive at even lower price points. If priced aggressively, the EQ Mini, EQi, and ME Pro-2 may become appealing choices for buyers looking for affordable mini PCs with modern connectivity, fast storage options, and compact designs.
