Beatbot is expanding its robotic pool cleaner lineup with the new Sora 70, unveiled at CES 2026. Designed as an all-in-one pool cleaning robot, the Sora 70 targets more than just the pool floor. It’s built to handle the floor, walls, waterline, and even water surface debris in a single cleaning cycle, aiming to keep the entire pool environment consistently clean with minimal hands-on effort.
A key highlight is its ability to clean shallow platforms with a minimum depth of 8 inches, which can be a troublesome area for many pool cleaning robots. That broader coverage is paired with a high-powered suction system rated at 6,800 gallons per hour, intended to pick up dirt and debris efficiently across multiple surfaces.
For floating leaves and surface-level particles, the Sora 70 adds a twin-jet system that actively funnels debris toward the inlet instead of relying solely on passive collection. Everything it gathers ends up in a large 6-liter, top-loading debris bin, designed for easier emptying and sized to hold a substantial amount of organic material before it needs attention.
To move intelligently around the pool, the Sora 70 uses SonicSense ultrasonic sensors for obstacle detection and avoidance, helping it map a more efficient route while reducing the chances of getting stuck. Power comes from a 10,000 mAh battery, with Beatbot stating up to five hours of floor cleaning or up to seven hours of surface skimming per charge. When the cleaning cycle ends—or if the battery gets low—the robot automatically parks itself at the pool edge to simplify retrieval.
The Beatbot Sora 70 is available now in the United States and Canada, with other regions expected to follow. It comes in two color options, Lavender Purple and Deep Blue, and is priced at $1,499.
