Anker Unveils Eufy HydroJet S2: A Flagship Robot Vacuum That Mops, Freshens, and Cleans Smarter

Eufy HydroJet S2 Robot Vacuum Launches With 30,000 Pa Suction, Wide Roller Mop, and Built-In Fragrance Diffuser

Anker has officially launched the Eufy HydroJet S2, its latest flagship robot vacuum and mop designed for high-end smart home cleaning. After being previewed earlier and passing through a pre-order phase, the new model is now available for purchase in Europe with a recommended retail price of 1,499 euros.

The Eufy HydroJet S2 arrives as the successor to the Eufy S1 Pro and brings several upgrades aimed at making automated floor cleaning more powerful, precise, and convenient. While the premium price places it firmly in the luxury robot vacuum category, Anker is positioning the HydroJet S2 as a feature-packed cleaning system for users who want more than basic vacuuming.

One of the biggest improvements is suction power. The Eufy HydroJet S2 offers up to 30,000 Pa of suction, giving it the strength to pick up dust, crumbs, pet hair, and debris from hard floors and carpets. While raw suction numbers do not always tell the full story, this figure puts the robot among the more powerful models currently available on the market.

The standout feature, however, is the robot’s large roller mop system. The Eufy HydroJet S2 uses a 29 cm wide roller mop that can extend up to 15 mm to the side, helping it clean closer to walls, corners, and furniture edges. This is especially useful in areas where many robot mops typically leave a narrow strip of untouched floor.

To tackle dried stains and stubborn dirt, the roller mop applies 15N of downward pressure. It is also continuously rinsed with clean water through 32 water jets while the robot is working. This fresh-water cleaning system is designed to prevent the mop from simply spreading dirt around the floor, making it more effective for daily maintenance and deeper cleaning sessions.

Another unusual feature is the integrated room fragrance diffuser. The Eufy HydroJet S2 can release one of three available scents while cleaning: Citrus & Basil, Bamboo & Sage, or Bergamot & Lychee. This gives users the option to freshen up a room while the robot vacuums and mops, turning a routine cleaning cycle into a more complete home-refreshing experience.

For navigation and obstacle avoidance, the robot uses Anker’s CleanMind AI system with 3D MatrixEye 2.0. Instead of relying on a traditional raised laser turret, the HydroJet S2 is designed with a cleaner, lower-profile look while still offering intelligent mapping and object recognition. This should help the robot move efficiently around furniture, avoid common household obstacles, and build accurate room maps for customized cleaning.

The Eufy HydroJet S2 also comes with a fully equipped base station. The dock handles charging and maintenance tasks, helping reduce the amount of manual work required from the user. Combined with its self-cleaning mop system and smart navigation, the robot is clearly aimed at households that want a more hands-off cleaning experience.

With its powerful suction, edge-reaching roller mop, AI-powered navigation, and built-in fragrance feature, the Eufy HydroJet S2 stands out as one of Anker’s most ambitious robot vacuum launches so far. Its 1,499-euro price tag means it will not be the right choice for every buyer, but for smart home users looking for a premium robot vacuum and mop with advanced cleaning features, it is likely to attract serious attention.
