Xiaomi Unveils Mijia Wireless Floor Scrubber 5 Pro Foam Edition With Foam and Steam Cleaning
Xiaomi has introduced a new cordless floor cleaner designed to make hard-floor cleaning faster, smarter, and more hygienic. The Mijia Wireless Floor Scrubber 5 Pro Foam Edition is a wet-dry vacuum that can vacuum, mop, and scrub at the same time, giving users a single-pass cleaning solution for everyday messes and tougher stains.
The new appliance is aimed at hard surfaces such as tile, wood flooring, and linoleum. Unlike robot vacuum and mop hybrids that usually vacuum first and mop afterward, this handheld floor scrubber handles both jobs simultaneously. That makes it a more direct option for users who want stronger manual control and deeper cleaning performance.
One of the standout features of the Mijia Wireless Floor Scrubber 5 Pro Foam Edition is its active foam cleaning system. The device generates foam while the rotating mop roller works across the floor, helping loosen dirt, grease, and stubborn grime. Xiaomi has also added steam cleaning support, giving the scrubber an extra layer of cleaning power for areas that need more than a standard mop.
The vacuum system offers a claimed suction power of 26,000 Pa, allowing it to pull up dirty water and debris while scrubbing the surface. This wet-dry design is intended to leave floors only lightly damp after cleaning, so they can dry quickly and be walked on sooner. It may also help reduce water marks and the risk of moisture-related floor damage when used properly.
Xiaomi says the roller has been designed to handle hair more effectively, reducing the chance of quick clogging during cleaning. This could make the device especially useful for households with pets or long-haired users, where tangled hair is often a common issue with floor-cleaning appliances.
Hygiene is another major focus. After cleaning, the docking station can run a self-cleaning cycle that washes the mop roller with 100°C hot water. This helps remove dirt from the roller instead of allowing it to be spread around during the next cleaning session. Once washed, the roller is dried with 80°C hot air, which is designed to reduce odors, moisture buildup, and bacterial growth.
The Mijia Wireless Floor Scrubber 5 Pro Foam Edition is currently listed on Xiaomi YouPin at around $326 based on its local pricing. For now, Xiaomi has not confirmed whether this model will be released internationally. However, the company often brings selected smart home products to additional markets under its wider home appliance ecosystem.
With strong suction, foam-assisted scrubbing, steam cleaning, and a high-temperature self-cleaning dock, Xiaomi’s latest floor scrubber is positioned as a convenient all-in-one cleaning tool for modern homes with hard flooring.
