Baseus Unveils Ultra-Slim 25W Qi2 Magnetic Power Bank Ahead of Schedule

Baseus PicoGo Air AM72 appears early on Amazon with ultra-slim Qi2 magnetic charging

Baseus’ upcoming PicoGo Air AM72 magnetic power bank has appeared on Amazon ahead of schedule, giving shoppers an early look at one of the slimmest Qi2 portable chargers expected for the iPhone Duo.

The PicoGo Air AM72 was introduced by Baseus in September 2026, with availability originally expected toward the end of November 2026. However, the product has already surfaced on Amazon with a listed price of $79.99. Although the listing title appears to contain some mistakes, the images and description clearly point to the new slim magnetic power bank.

The biggest selling point of the Baseus PicoGo Air AM72 is its extremely thin design. At its thinnest point, the power bank measures just 7.9mm, making it slimmer than several popular compact magnetic chargers currently on the market. For comparison, similar 5,000mAh magnetic power banks from competing brands often measure around 8.6mm thick.

Baseus appears to have designed the PicoGo Air AM72 specifically with the iPhone Duo in mind. Instead of using a narrow traditional power bank shape, the AM72 has a wider passport-like design that better matches the form factor of Apple’s foldable-style device. This should help it attach more naturally and provide a more balanced fit during magnetic wireless charging.

In terms of wireless charging performance, the PicoGo Air AM72 supports Qi2 magnetic charging at up to 15W. That puts it in line with many current Qi2 power banks rather than ahead of them. However, Baseus gives the device an advantage with its USB-C output, which can deliver up to 25W wired charging. This makes it more versatile for users who want faster charging when they are willing to plug in a cable.

The power bank also includes several extra features aimed at improving convenience and reliability. Baseus lists PowerSense NFC support, allowing users to quickly check charging status and related information. The AM72 also uses 12N magnets, which should help keep the charger firmly attached during use. Advanced temperature control is included as well, designed to keep wireless charging sessions stable and safer over longer periods.

At launch, the Baseus PicoGo Air AM72 appears to be available in a single color option called Star Titanium Silver. The finish seems to match the premium look Baseus is targeting with this ultra-thin magnetic charger.

With its $79.99 price tag, the PicoGo Air AM72 is not the cheapest compact magnetic power bank available. Still, its thinner profile, 25W USB-C output, Qi2 wireless charging support, and iPhone Duo-friendly design could make it an appealing choice for users looking for a sleek portable charger that blends strong performance with a slim everyday-carry form factor.
