ASUS Unveils Golden-Black ROG Astral RTX 50 BTF GPU in 20th Anniversary Teaser

ASUS is getting ready to celebrate 20 years of its Republic of Gamers brand with a fresh wave of ROG hardware, and a new teaser has offered an early look at what could be one of its most eye-catching product launches yet.

The short ROG anniversary teaser hints at several upcoming devices dressed in a striking black-and-gold design. The theme appears to be created specifically for the ROG 20th anniversary lineup, giving ASUS’ premium gaming hardware a more luxurious collector-style appearance.

ASUS has already shown its ROG 20th Anniversary Crosshair motherboard, but that does not appear to be the only special-edition product planned. The company is expected to reveal more hardware during Computex 2026, scheduled to take place from June 2 to June 6. Based on the teaser, ASUS is preparing a broader anniversary product stack rather than a single commemorative release.

In the final moments of the video, five upcoming ROG products can be seen. Although the footage does not show them in full detail, the silhouettes and design elements suggest a motherboard, an AIO liquid cooler, a power supply, a graphics card, and what may be a new ROG NUC-style mini PC.

Among these, the graphics card is likely to attract the most attention from PC gaming enthusiasts and custom PC builders. The card appears to follow ASUS’ ROG Astral BTF design language and could be based on one of NVIDIA’s high-end GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs.

While ASUS has not confirmed the exact model, the design points toward either a GeForce RTX 5090 or GeForce RTX 5080. The visible layout, including the small HPWR connector positioned near the PCIe slot, makes the RTX 5090 a strong possibility. If accurate, this would place the anniversary edition firmly in the ultra-premium graphics card category.

The teased ROG Astral BTF RTX 50 series GPU appears to stand apart from the standard ROG Astral models mainly through its color scheme. Instead of the usual black and silver-gray styling, the anniversary edition uses black with gold accents. This gives the card a more distinctive look and aligns it with the rest of the ROG 20th anniversary hardware shown in the teaser.

The BTF design is also notable because it is aimed at cleaner PC builds. ASUS’ BTF ecosystem focuses on reducing visible cabling by relocating connectors and improving cable management, making it especially appealing for showcase gaming PCs with glass panels and high-end RGB setups.

ASUS has not shared specifications, clock speeds, pricing, or availability details for the anniversary graphics card or the rest of the teased products. However, given the ROG Astral branding and the likely RTX 50 series GPU inside, this model is expected to arrive as a premium factory-overclocked graphics card built for enthusiasts.

The black-and-gold ROG 20th anniversary lineup could become one of ASUS’ most visually memorable hardware releases, especially for collectors and builders planning a themed high-performance gaming PC. With Computex 2026 approaching, more details should emerge soon, including full product names, technical specifications, launch dates, and regional availability.
