ASUS Celebrates 20 Years of ROG With a Gold-Accented Edition 20 Hardware Lineup
ASUS has unveiled its special “Edition 20” collection to celebrate 20 years of Republic of Gamers, bringing anniversary-themed designs to a wide range of ROG products. The launch event was hosted by Ned Luke, known for portraying Michael De Santa in GTA 5, adding some extra star power to the reveal.
The Edition 20 lineup stretches far beyond a single limited-edition component. ASUS has applied the anniversary treatment across motherboards, graphics cards, cooling hardware, PC cases, peripherals, lifestyle gear, networking products, prebuilt systems, and more. The result is one of the broadest ROG special-edition collections the company has introduced.
A surprisingly refined anniversary design
ROG products are often associated with aggressive gamer styling, but the Edition 20 aesthetic takes a more polished approach on several items. Gold accents, anniversary markings, and special ROG branding appear throughout the lineup, but not every product looks overdone.
Some of the lifestyle products, including the ROG Destrier chair, backpack, and suitcase, are subtle enough to fit into more casual or even business-oriented settings. The gold detailing gives them a premium identity without making them feel too flashy. However, these particular accessories are expected to have limited availability, so they may not be easy to find at standard retail.
Motherboards, cooling, and chassis get the Edition 20 treatment
ASUS also introduced Edition 20 versions of key DIY PC components. The X870E Crosshair Edition 20 motherboard stands out with its anniversary styling and pairs neatly with the ROG Ryujin 360 Edition 20 liquid cooler.
Unlike the more understated lifestyle gear, the internal PC components lean harder into the showpiece look. Gold highlights, bold ROG details, and 20th anniversary design elements make them feel built for display-focused gaming PCs. Installed inside the GR20 Edition 20 open-frame chassis, the hardware creates a clean but unmistakably premium build theme.
ROG Astral RTX 5090 Edition 20 brings extreme showcase design
One of the most striking products in the collection is the ROG Astral RTX 5090 Edition 20. Based on the already high-end ROG Astral RTX 5090, this anniversary version adds an eye-catching curved AMOLED display that can show real-time system metrics and custom animations.
The card also features a transparent glass backplate with etched ROG details and Edition 20 motifs. It is clearly designed for enthusiasts who want their graphics card to be a centerpiece, not just a performance component.
Power is a major part of the story as well. The ROG Astral RTX 5090 Edition 20 is described as capable of drawing up to 800W through dual input from the GC-HPWR connector. That kind of demand requires a serious power supply, and ASUS has introduced the ROG Thor 3000W Titanium III Edition 20 to match.
The ROG Thor 3000W Titanium III Edition 20 is an extreme PSU built to handle up to four RTX 5090 graphics cards at the same time. Like other high-end ROG hardware, it also includes an OLED display, giving builders another visual element inside their system. The ROG Equalizer cable has also received an Edition 20 redesign to match the rest of the build.
Edition 20 prebuilt systems for gamers who do not build PCs
ASUS is not limiting the anniversary celebration to DIY builders. The company also revealed Edition 20 prebuilt systems, including the ROG NUC 16 Edition 20 and the ROG G1000 Edition 20.
The ROG NUC 16 Edition 20 is a compact 3-liter system equipped with up to an RTX 5090 mobile GPU. It is rated for up to 300W of total system power draw, which is notable given its slim footprint.
For users who want a larger desktop, the ROG G1000 Edition 20 offers high-end hardware options, including up to a Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor cooled by a 420mm liquid cooler and an RTX 5090 graphics card. ASUS also highlighted a holographic “AniMe” fan in the system, allowing users to display custom visuals inside the prebuilt desktop.
ROG Edition 20 monitors, routers, keyboards, and mice
The anniversary lineup also includes several peripherals and accessories. ASUS revealed the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-G Edition 20, a dual-mode WOLED gaming monitor with gold lighting and trim to match the collection.
Networking hardware is included as well, with the ROG Rapture GT-BE98 Pro Edition 20 bringing the anniversary theme to ASUS’ flagship Wi-Fi 7 router.
For keyboard enthusiasts, ASUS introduced the ROG Azoth Extreme Edition 20. This special-edition keyboard features real carbon fiber and 24K gold elements, making it one of the most premium-looking peripherals in the lineup.
The ROG Harpe II Extreme Edition 20 gaming mouse completes the core peripheral set, giving fans a full anniversary-themed desktop setup.
Even more ROG anniversary gear
ASUS also showed additional Edition 20 items, including a board game and a special Edition 20 theme for Armoury Crate. Another ultra-exclusive item mentioned was the ROG Crosshair 2006 motherboard, though it may not officially belong to the Edition 20 collection.
Pricing and release details have not yet been fully confirmed. Some products, especially lifestyle accessories, may see limited availability, while many of the major PC components and peripherals could receive broader retail launches.
With the Edition 20 lineup, ASUS is clearly aiming to celebrate two decades of Republic of Gamers in a big way. From subtle travel gear to extreme gaming hardware with AMOLED displays, gold accents, and high-end components, the collection is designed for longtime ROG fans who want a distinctive anniversary build or setup.
