Asus Pad India Launch Set for August 6: OLED Tablet With 144Hz Display, Dimensity 8300, and 9,000mAh Battery
Asus is preparing to launch its new Asus Pad in India, bringing a premium OLED tablet experience to the market. First showcased at Computex 2026, the Asus Pad, model number T3201, is now officially scheduled to debut in India on August 6 at 12 PM local time.
One of the biggest highlights of the Asus Pad is its large 12.2-inch OLED display. The tablet uses dual-stack tandem OLED technology, which is designed to deliver improved brightness, richer colors, and better long-term durability compared to conventional OLED panels. With a resolution of 2,800 x 1,840 pixels, a productivity-friendly 3:2 aspect ratio, and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, the Asus Pad is clearly aimed at users who want a sharp and responsive screen for entertainment, work, reading, and creative tasks.
Powering the tablet is the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset. Built on a 4nm process, this octa-core processor should offer strong performance for multitasking, streaming, gaming, note-taking, and everyday productivity. The device is paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM, which should help keep apps running smoothly. Asus will offer the tablet in 128GB and 256GB storage variants, and users will also be able to expand storage by up to 1TB using a microSD card.
For cameras, the Asus Pad includes a 13MP rear camera with autofocus, making it suitable for scanning documents, taking quick photos, and capturing notes. On the front, there is a 5MP camera for video calls, online classes, and virtual meetings.

The Asus Pad will be available in a Pure White finish. It has a slim 6.5mm profile and weighs 523 grams, making it relatively portable for a tablet with a 12.2-inch display. Asus has also confirmed that a protective case will be included in the box, adding extra value for buyers.
As of now, Asus has not announced the official India pricing for the Asus Pad. More details, including availability, launch offers, and variant-wise pricing, are expected to be revealed during the August 6 launch event.
