Asus has officially introduced the Asus Pad T3201 in China, bringing its premium Android tablet to another major market after its earlier debut in India. The tablet arrives with a sharp OLED display, a high refresh rate, a slim design, and a MediaTek chipset aimed at users who want a capable device for entertainment, productivity, note-taking, and everyday mobile computing.
In China, the Asus Pad T3201 is priced at CNY 3,999, which is roughly $594. This version includes 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. By comparison, the tablet launched in India with a starting configuration of 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, while the higher 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage model is priced above the base variant there. Aside from the storage differences, the main hardware remains largely the same across regions.
One of the biggest highlights of the Asus Pad T3201 is its 12.2-inch OLED screen. The panel features a 2,800 x 1,840 resolution, giving users a crisp 2.8K viewing experience for streaming, reading, creative work, and multitasking. It also supports a 144Hz refresh rate, which should make scrolling, animations, gaming, and stylus input feel smoother than on standard 60Hz tablets.
The display uses a 3:2 aspect ratio, making it more practical for productivity tasks compared to wider entertainment-focused screens.
