Apple’s new Studio Display is officially priced, and it’s positioned firmly in the premium monitor category from the moment you configure your options.
The Studio Display starts at $1,599 and includes standard glass. At this base price, you’ll choose either a tilt-adjustable stand or a VESA mount adapter, giving buyers a choice between a traditional desk setup or an arm-mounted workspace.
If you want a more flexible setup, Apple also offers a tilt- and height-adjustable stand, but it comes as a paid upgrade. That stand adds an extra $400, pushing the price up quickly for anyone who prefers better ergonomics or shares a workstation throughout the day.
There’s also an upgraded glass option. Buyers who want nano-texture glass will need to budget even more, as configurations with this finish start at $1,899. When you combine the height-adjustable stand with nano-texture glass, the Studio Display reaches $2,299 before taxes, making it one of the most expensive ways to build out a clean Apple-centric desktop setup.
Pre-orders are scheduled to open at 14:15 UTC on March 4, with shipments beginning on March 11. For shoppers comparing premium monitors, it’s worth noting how much the final cost depends on stand choice and glass type, since those two upgrades account for a significant jump over the starting price.
