iPhone Ultra Final Design Leak Points to a Slim Foldable With Crease-Free Display
Fresh details about Apple’s rumored iPhone Ultra have surfaced, giving fans what may be the clearest look yet at the company’s first foldable iPhone. While recent reports suggested the device could face a delay of up to four months, another reliable source has pushed back on those claims, saying Apple is still targeting a September launch window.
Now, new 3D renders are adding more fuel to the excitement. The images were shared by Front Page Tech on YouTube, hosted by Jon Prosser, and are based on a mix of leaked information, industry rumors, and previously spotted dummy units. While Apple has not confirmed anything officially, the render appears polished enough to resemble a near-final product.
The latest design shows several changes compared to earlier renders shared a couple of months ago. One of the most noticeable adjustments is the placement of the USB Type-C port, which has reportedly moved to the left side of the device. The speaker grille has also been redesigned, now split into two smaller sections positioned on the right side.
Another key addition is the camera control button, suggesting Apple may bring over some of the newer hardware features seen on recent iPhone models. This could give users quicker access to camera tools, especially useful on a foldable device that may offer more flexible shooting angles.
The iPhone Ultra is also expected to be extremely thin. According to the latest leak, each half of the unfolded device could measure around 4.5mm. That would make it slimmer than the rumored iPhone Air when opened, though still slightly thicker than some competing foldable smartphones. Even so, Apple’s focus appears to be on creating a sleek, premium design rather than simply chasing the thinnest possible frame.
On the back, the foldable iPhone is said to feature a dual-camera system with a main sensor and an ultrawide lens. The camera island may take design inspiration from the iPhone Air, giving the device a familiar but refined appearance. Apple is likely to keep the camera setup simple and elegant, especially if the goal is to maintain a thinner body.
One of the most interesting rumored features is a crease-free inner display. Foldable phones have improved dramatically in recent years, but the visible crease remains one of the biggest complaints among users. If Apple manages to deliver a nearly invisible crease, the iPhone Ultra could stand out immediately in the foldable market.
The device is expected to combine the premium build quality of the iPhone lineup with the flexibility of a foldable form factor. When folded, it could function like a compact iPhone. When opened, it may offer a larger display suited for multitasking, gaming, video streaming, reading, and productivity.
For now, the iPhone Ultra remains unconfirmed, and all design details should be treated as leaks rather than official information. Still, the growing number of consistent reports suggests Apple’s foldable iPhone is moving closer to reality. If the September timeline proves accurate, the iPhone Ultra could become one of Apple’s most important launches in years and a major new rival in the foldable smartphone space.
