Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro Update Adds Golf Maps, HybridCharge, and New Training Tools
The Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro is receiving a major software update that brings a noticeable upgrade to one of the brand’s most rugged smartwatches. With firmware version 4.10.5.1, the wearable gains new sports features, improved recovery insights, and more advanced tools for athletes who want better guidance during training and competition.
One of the biggest additions is aimed at golfers. The update introduces support for more than 40,000 golf course maps, giving users access to valuable course information directly from the watch. For anyone who plays regularly, this could make the T-Rex 3 Pro far more useful on the course, helping with navigation, planning, and overall game management without needing to rely as heavily on a smartphone.
The update also brings HybridCharge, a new readiness and recovery system that replaces BioCharge. Amazfit says HybridCharge uses a wider range of data points to estimate how physically prepared the user is for demanding activity. This should make the smartwatch more helpful for people who follow structured workout plans, track recovery closely, or want a clearer picture of when to push harder and when to rest.
Hyrox competitors also get meaningful improvements with this release. The Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro now includes new training simulations designed to help athletes prepare more effectively for race conditions. A new race-day strategy feature has also been added, giving users support in managing effort and energy throughout an event. This can be especially valuable in endurance-style competitions, where starting too aggressively can make the later stages much harder.
There is also a small but useful wording change in the Readiness app. Instead of showing “full recovery time,” the watch now refers to the metric as the recommended break before the next intense workout. This makes the feature easier to understand and better reflects how many athletes actually use recovery guidance in everyday training.
The Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro already stands out as a durable smartwatch built for outdoor use, fitness tracking, and long battery life. With this latest update, it becomes even more appealing for golfers, hybrid athletes, runners, and users who want deeper performance insights from their wearable.
The rollout of firmware version 4.10.5.1 may not reach every user at the same time, so some Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro owners may need to wait before the update appears on their device. Once installed, however, the new features should make the smartwatch more versatile and more competitive in the premium sports watch category.
