The iPhone 16 launch event is anticipated to happen on September 10, with Apple expected to unveil several products alongside its four new flagship models. Recent reports suggest that Apple has completed filming its keynote presentation, indicating the company’s readiness for the big reveal.
Leaked promotional images indicate that major markets are preparing for the iPhone 16 launch. The information, shared by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, notes that Apple plans to showcase the video in the Steve Jobs Theater, as has been their tradition for years. The entire presentation will be livestreamed across various platforms. The new iPhone 16 models are expected to be available for purchase 10 days after the announcement, on September 20.
“Apple’s September product launches are typically the first Tuesday or Wednesday after Labor Day, and it looks like this year will follow that same pattern. The company has wrapped up filming of its iPhone 16 launch video and is planning to host an event at its campus on Tuesday, Sept. 10. Sticking to the script of the past few years, Apple will air the keynote video in the Steve Jobs Theater and allow attendees to check out the new iPhones and other hardware afterward. Of course, the presentation will also be streamed online. The new iPhones will hit stores 10 days later, beginning on Friday, Sept. 20.”
Apple aims to ramp up production of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, with the largest model expected to dominate the initial 90 million shipments for 2024. Foxconn has reportedly hired an additional 50,000 workers to meet the anticipated demand. Despite the launch being a few weeks away, the circulation of leaked promotional images suggests a highly anticipated and packed keynote event ahead.
