Anker Teases New 20,000mAh Zolo Power Bank With 55W Fast Charging and Built-In USB-C Cables
Anker is preparing to launch a new portable charger that could become one of its most practical power banks yet. The company has teased an upgraded Zolo Power Bank designed around faster charging, built-in cable convenience, and improved battery safety.
The upcoming Anker power bank appears to be one of the company’s first models certified under China’s new GB 47372-2026 national safety standard. This regulation introduces tougher requirements for portable battery products, with the goal of reducing risks linked to overheating, fire, and explosions.
According to teaser images shared in China, the new Anker Zolo Power Bank will feature two built-in USB-C cables. That design is especially useful for users who often forget to carry separate charging cables or want a cleaner setup while traveling, commuting, or working on the go.
In addition to the two integrated USB-C cables, the power bank is expected to include one USB-C port and one USB-A port. This means it should be able to charge up to four devices at the same time, making it a strong option for people who carry multiple gadgets such as smartphones, tablets, wireless earbuds, smartwatches, handheld gaming devices, or other USB-powered accessories.
One of the biggest upgrades is charging speed. Anker says the new model supports up to 55W fast charging through any of its three USB-C outputs. That is a noticeable improvement over the current Zolo Power Bank, which tops out at 45W. The USB-A port is rated for up to 33W, giving users extra flexibility for older cables and devices.
The power bank is also listed with a rated energy of 74Wh, which suggests a capacity of around 20,000mAh. That should provide enough power for multiple phone charges, depending on the device, and may also be suitable for topping up tablets and some USB-C laptops in a pinch.
Beyond speed and capacity, safety appears to be a major focus of this upcoming Anker release. The new GB 47372-2026 safety standard is set to take effect on April 1, 2027, and manufacturers are expected to update their battery products ahead of the deadline. By teasing a compliant model early, Anker is positioning its new power bank as a safer and more future-ready portable charging solution.
