Anker SafeCharge Pro+ Debuts as a Compact USB-C Charger With AVS Fast Charging
Anker has introduced a new compact charging plug in China called the SafeCharge Pro+, also known by its model number A120M. Designed with portability and high-speed charging in mind, the new accessory is being positioned as a convenient option for Apple users, including those planning to upgrade to the upcoming iPhone 18 series.
The Anker SafeCharge Pro+ Charger features a single USB-C port and supports the Adjustable Voltage Supply, or AVS, charging protocol. This allows the charger to dynamically adjust power output between 45W and 65W, helping deliver efficient fast charging based on the connected device’s needs.
According to Anker, the charger can power an iPhone 17 to 50% in around 20 minutes when operating at the lower end of its output range. The company also says the SafeCharge Pro+ supports Xiaomi’s 55W fast charging protocol, making it useful beyond Apple devices.
One of the standout features of the SafeCharge Pro+ is its upgraded temperature management system. Anker has equipped the charger with ActiveShield 4.0, its active temperature control technology designed to monitor heat levels during charging. The charger has also received TÜV Rheinland certification for low-temperature fast charging, supported in part by GaN 2.0 technology.
Despite its powerful charging capabilities, the SafeCharge Pro+ remains very compact. It measures 34.0 x 36.5 x 43.2 mm and weighs about 80 g, making it easy to carry in a pocket, travel pouch, or backpack. The charger also includes foldable pins, which can be positioned in two different ways while charging or folded away completely for easier storage.
Anker appears to be giving the SafeCharge Pro+ a more lifestyle-focused design as well. Product images show the charger in four color options: black, white, burgundy, and light blue. These shades may be aimed at users looking for a charger that pairs well with current and future smartphone color trends, including the expected iPhone 18 Pro lineup.
With AVS support, GaN 2.0 technology, active thermal protection, and a compact foldable design, the Anker SafeCharge Pro+ could appeal to users who want a small but capable USB-C fast charger for smartphones and other compatible devices.
