Anker Launches New 45W Nano Charger With Smart Display and Smarter iPhone 18 Pro Charging
Anker has introduced an upgraded version of its compact 45W Nano Charger in the United States, bringing smarter charging features aimed at users of Apple’s latest iPhone models. The new Anker Nano Charger keeps the travel-friendly design of the previous model but adds AVS adaptive charging support and improved device detection for the iPhone 18 Pro series.
The charger, officially called the Anker Nano Charger 45W with Smart Display and 180° Foldable Plug, first appeared in China before making its way to the US market. While the exterior design remains largely the same, the internal charging technology has been improved to deliver more precise and efficient power to compatible devices.
The compact body and foldable prongs make it easy to carry in a bag, backpack, or travel pouch. It includes a single USB-C port capable of delivering up to 45W of power, making it suitable for fast charging iPhones, iPads, and even some lightweight laptops. One of its standout features is the built-in smart display, which shows useful real-time charging information such as power output and temperature.
The biggest upgrade is support for AVS adaptive charging. This technology allows the charger to make finer voltage adjustments based on the connected device’s battery status. Instead of relying only on fixed charging steps, AVS helps deliver power more smoothly and efficiently. For iPhone users, this means faster and more optimized charging while also helping manage heat and battery health.
Anker says the new Nano Charger works especially well with the iPhone 17 series and the iPhone 18 Pro lineup. The charger can detect compatible iPhone models and adjust charging output accordingly. The previous version already supported device recognition for iPhone 15, iPhone 16, and iPhone 17 models, along with select iPads and MacBooks. With the updated model, Anker is expanding recognition to include the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max through an over-the-air update.
Battery longevity is also a key focus. When used together with Anker’s Care Mode for overnight charging, the company claims the charger can help reduce battery degradation by up to 20%. This could make it a useful option for users who regularly charge their phones overnight and want to preserve battery health over time.
The Anker Nano Charger 45W with Smart Display and 180° Foldable Plug is available in the US for $34.99. It comes in five color options, including a burgundy version designed to pair well with the iPhone 18 Pro lineup. Preorders are also available through Anker, with shipping expected to begin between September 21 and September 25.
With its compact design, smart display, 45W USB-C fast charging, AVS adaptive charging, and expanded iPhone 18 Pro support, Anker’s latest Nano Charger is positioned as a practical everyday charger for Apple users who want speed, portability, and better battery care in one small package.
