Anker has introduced its new 45W Smart+ Charger in China, bringing an upgraded version of its compact USB-C wall charger with a built-in smart display. The latest model appears to build on the earlier Anker Nano Charger with 45W output, smart screen, and 180-degree foldable plug design, while keeping the same A121D model number.
The new Anker Smart+ Charger is designed for users who want a portable, travel-friendly fast charger with more visibility and control during charging. Like the previous version, it features a single USB-C port and an integrated display that shows real-time charging information. This small screen allows users to monitor power delivery at a glance, making it more practical than a standard wall adapter.
One of the main highlights of the upgraded charger is support for the AVS protocol, which enables dynamic fast charging. According to Anker, the charger can power an iPhone 17 up to 50% in about 20 minutes, making it a convenient option for quick top-ups during busy days.
Anker is also promoting improved battery protection with this release. The company says the charger uses smart device recognition and dynamic charging adjustments to help reduce long-term battery wear. Anker claims this can reduce battery degradation by up to 20%, although it has not shared detailed testing data behind that figure.
The charger also includes ActiveShield 5.0 safety technology, which is designed to manage temperature and provide safer charging performance.
