Akasa has launched the Euler CMX, a tiny 4-liter Mini-ITX PC case built for people who want a silent, fanless small form factor PC. The big idea behind the Euler CMX is simple: remove active cooling entirely and rely on passive heat dissipation, making it a strong fit for noise-sensitive spaces like home offices, studios, living rooms, meeting rooms, and digital signage setups.
Now available across Europe, Asia, and North America, the Akasa Euler CMX comes with premium pricing, starting around €151 (roughly $203 depending on region). It’s clearly aimed at Mini-ITX enthusiasts who value compact size and zero fan noise over maximum performance.
Fanless Mini-ITX case designed around 35W Intel CPUs
Because this is a passive cooling chassis, CPU support is intentionally limited to low-power processors. The Euler CMX supports Intel Core processors from 8th Gen through 14th Gen, plus Intel Core Ultra 200-series CPUs, as long as the chip stays within a maximum 35W TDP. Supported Intel sockets include LGA115X, LGA1200, LGA1700, and the newest LGA1851.
A good example of the kind of processor that fits this case is a 35W “T” series CPU like the Core Ultra 5 225T, which trades higher clock speeds for lower heat output. That’s the type of balance a fanless build needs—stable everyday performance without overwhelming the case’s passive thermal design.
M.2-only storage and a compact, minimal layout
To keep the chassis small (and help with airflow-free thermal constraints), the Akasa Euler CMX skips support for bulky 3.5-inch drives. Storage is focused on M.2 only, which aligns with modern compact PC builds and helps keep cabling and heat down.
On the front or integrated I/O side, the case includes:
Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports
Two USB 2.0 Type-A ports
For additional connectivity and display outputs, users will rely on the ports provided by their chosen Mini-ITX motherboard—an important consideration when planning a build, especially if you need multiple display connections.
Mounting options and power choices for flexible installs
The Euler CMX is designed for clean, space-saving installations. It supports wall mounting and VESA mounting, making it suitable for attaching behind monitors or placing out of sight.
Power is also flexible. Buyers can opt for an external 150W power adapter, or use the included internal 220W power unit. The internal unit uses a 4-pin DIN connector and provides 12V, 5V, and 3.3V rails.
A premium choice for silent SFF builds
With its minimalist look, ultra-compact 4-liter footprint, and fanless approach, the Akasa Euler CMX targets a specific audience: builders who want a small, quiet PC for everyday tasks, light productivity, or specialized always-on use—without the hum of fans or the complexity of active cooling. If silence, low maintenance, and compact installation matter more than raw performance, this case is built to deliver exactly that.
