Aito M6 Set to Debut Featuring Innovative Sodium New Energy Battery Technology

The Aito M9 is making waves with its cutting-edge features, offering state-of-the-art luxury to markets in regions like China and the Philippines. This futuristic vehicle boasts a per-seat entertainment system complete with individual screens and a voice assistant. Perhaps its most striking feature is a 100-inch projector that seamlessly integrates into its sleek design.

Powering these smart features is a battery reaching up to 100Wh in its top configurations. Excitingly, its successor is set to push boundaries even further. CATL has introduced a groundbreaking advancement in electric vehicle (EV) energy storage with their sodium-ion-based battery. This “condensed” battery heralds a new era of efficiency with an impressive operating temperature range of -40 to 70 degrees Celsius (-40 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit), thanks to innovative NP2.0 thermoelectric separation technology.

Dubbed “Sodium New Energy” or “Freevoy,” the battery is compatible with the latest 12C charging standard, promising to recharge a 100Wh battery in a mere 10 minutes with its powerful 1.2 megawatt capability. This battery is already in mass production, utilizing an eco-friendly “DPPB zero-carbon low-waste” process.

Aito, associated with Huawei through the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA), is anticipated to integrate this cutting-edge battery into its upcoming SUV model, possibly the M6 or a revamped version of the M7. This innovation signifies a remarkable leap toward the future of sustainable and high-performance electric vehicles.
