Acebeam is expanding its tactical lineup with the new Acebeam T29, a long-throw flashlight designed for impressive distance while still staying reasonably compact for its class. It’s launching at a discounted price of $82.40, but the standard price is expected to rise to $109.90 once the introductory deal ends.
Built for reach, the Acebeam T29 is rated for a maximum beam distance of up to 1,531 yards (1,400 meters). That kind of throw comes with a trade-off, though: the flashlight head is noticeably oversized compared to the body. The T29 measures around 7.9 inches long and weighs a little over 10.5 ounces, while the head spans about 2.6 inches in diameter, making it significantly wider than the handle.
Power comes from a replaceable 21700 battery, a popular choice for high-output tactical flashlights because it balances capacity and performance. Acebeam includes a 5,600mAh (20.1Wh) cell, which is slightly higher than many typical 21700 batteries, even if there are still a few alternatives with more total energy. Charging is handled directly in the flashlight through a USB-C port protected by a cover. With an appropriate charger, Acebeam says a full recharge takes roughly 2.5 hours, and around 10W should be enough to hit that charging speed.
In real-world use, runtimes depend heavily on the selected mode, and Acebeam breaks performance into familiar tiers. The top burst mode delivers 2,900 lumens and the full 1,531-yard throw, but only for about four minutes. After that, it steps down to 1,150 lumens with a rated distance of 936 yards for about 1 hour and 50 minutes. For extended use, the low mode runs at 12 lumens for up to 163 hours, while still offering a quoted reach of roughly 110 yards. The light output is a cool white tone rated at 6,500K, which tends to appear crisp and bright—often preferred for outdoor scanning and tactical-style use.
Durability is another key selling point. The Acebeam T29 carries an IP68 rating, meaning it’s built to resist dust and handle wet conditions, including heavy rain. While Acebeam describes it as waterproof, it’s not intended for diving use.
For buyers looking to tailor it to specific setups, Acebeam also offers bundle options with accessories such as a remote pressure switch, a green filter, and a compatible mount—useful additions for outdoor work, hunting setups where legal, or tactical-style applications that benefit from remote activation.
With its long-range beam, USB-C charging, 21700 power system, and rugged IP68 build, the Acebeam T29 is positioned as a high-output tactical flashlight for users who prioritize distance and durability—especially while the launch price is still available.
