Acebeam has launched the new X30 flashlight, a high-output USB-C rechargeable model built for users who want both extreme brightness and practical everyday control. It’s now available to buy for $209, but anyone looking to save might want to hold off briefly: on February 2 at 9 PM EST, the Acebeam X30 is set to drop by 25% for a limited time. Shipping is scheduled to begin on February 8, 2026.
Designed around power and endurance, the Acebeam X30 runs on two side-by-side, replaceable 21700 batteries. Together they deliver roughly 37Wh of capacity, which helps explain why this flashlight is on the larger, heavier side. It measures about 6.3 inches long and weighs close to 1.1 pounds. The head is notably chunky, but the overall shape is still intended to be comfortable in hand for a light in this performance class.
Durability is another strong point. The USB-C charging port is covered to help keep out dust and moisture, and the Acebeam X30 carries an IP68 rating. That means it’s built to handle harsh environments, including brief submersion in water up to about 6.6 feet deep.
Where the X30 really grabs attention is the output. Using three 6500K LEDs, it can hit a peak of 20,000 lumens and throw light beyond 650 yards, but only in short bursts. With a full charge, that maximum “turbo” level is available for about 15 seconds before stepping down—an approach commonly used to manage heat and protect the hardware.
After the turbo step-down, the high mode is the sustained workhorse: 3,000 lumens with a beam distance of around 185 yards for up to 1 hour and 50 minutes. If you don’t trigger turbo first, this high setting is said to last about five minutes longer, which is a useful detail for anyone planning runtimes carefully.
For longer tasks and close-range use, the lower levels extend runtime dramatically. The lowest white-light mode is rated at 40 lumens with a reach of about 16 yards, and it can run for up to 58 hours—ideal for camping, emergency kits, or low-glare indoor work.
The Acebeam X30 also includes a red-light option, which can be especially handy for preserving night vision, signaling, or reducing attraction of insects outdoors. Red output ranges from 15 to 300 lumens, and at maximum red brightness it can run for at least 5 hours and 42 minutes.
Control is handled through a mix of two buttons and a sliding switch, offering three main LED settings plus a lock function to help prevent accidental activation in a bag or pocket.
With its combination of ultra-high peak brightness, long-distance throw, USB-C charging, IP68 ruggedness, and dual 21700 battery power, the Acebeam X30 is positioned for search-and-rescue style performance while still offering modes suited to everyday use. If you’re shopping for a 20,000-lumen flashlight with serious runtime options—and don’t mind the extra weight—this is one release worth watching, especially with the upcoming limited-time discount.
