Ultra-Rare ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5090 Signed by NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang Heads to Auction
One of the rarest GeForce RTX 5090 graphics cards in existence has surfaced in an unexpected way, and it is now heading to auction with an estimated value of up to $15,000.
The card in question is the ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5090 White OC 30th Anniversary Edition, a special one-of-one GPU that was originally shown during ASUS’ 30th anniversary celebration. What makes it truly unique is not only its limited-edition white design, but also the signature on its backplate from NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang.
According to the current owner, a 3D artist, the card was purchased through the second-hand market along with another RTX 5090 for use in a 3D project. At first, the buyer believed it was simply a special ASUS graphics card signed by an ASUS executive. However, after opening the box and inspecting the GPU, he discovered that the signature actually belonged to Jensen Huang.
That discovery changed everything.
The card appears to be the same unit Jensen Huang previously held during ASUS’ anniversary video presentation. Images of the GPU reportedly match the card shown at the event, including the white ROG Astral design and the signature placement on the rear backplate. Since only one unit of this exact model is believed to exist, the graphics card has quickly become a collector’s item rather than just another high-end PC component.
Instead of installing the GPU into a workstation for rendering or 3D design, the owner decided to preserve it and place it up for auction. The card has been consigned to Bonhams, with online bidding expected to run from October 4 to October 14.
The estimated auction price is listed between $10,000 and $15,000, but the final figure could climb higher depending on collector interest. Standard GeForce RTX 5090 cards have already been seen selling for more than $5,000 in some markets, while premium factory-overclocked versions can approach $10,000 in certain regions. Given the one-of-a-kind status of this ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5090 White OC and its direct connection to NVIDIA’s CEO, the card may attract both hardware enthusiasts and memorabilia collectors.
For PC gamers and creators, the RTX 5090 is already considered an elite graphics card. But this particular unit goes far beyond performance benchmarks. It represents a rare piece of GPU history, combining ASUS’ anniversary milestone, NVIDIA’s flagship graphics technology, and Jensen Huang’s personal signature.
Whether it sells within the expected range or sparks a bidding war, this ultra-rare ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5090 is likely to remain one of the most unusual graphics card auction stories in recent memory.
