Xiaomi Mijia Ceiling Fan with Light 36-Inch Listed Globally, Hinting at Wider Launch
Xiaomi is preparing to bring another smart home product to international markets with the listing of the Mijia Ceiling Fan with Light 36-inch on its global website. The appearance of the device outside China suggests that Xiaomi may be planning a broader rollout, although availability in regions such as Europe has not yet been confirmed.
The new Xiaomi ceiling fan combines air circulation with built-in LED lighting, making it a practical option for bedrooms, living rooms, dining areas, and other indoor spaces where users want both comfort and illumination from a single fixture. It follows Xiaomi’s familiar smart home approach: a clean design, energy-conscious performance, and connected features aimed at modern households.
The Mijia Ceiling Fan with Light 36-inch weighs approximately 4.3 kg and supports a wide input voltage range of 100V to 240V. This makes it suitable for use across multiple regions with different electrical standards. Its total rated power consumption is up to 64W, with the fan using 28W and the integrated LED light using 36W.
One of the standout features is the lighting system. Xiaomi says the lamp is designed to provide soft, even illumination with a uniformity ratio of at least 0.7 and brightness of 300 lux or higher. The company also highlights a high Color Rendering Index of Ra97, which means colors should appear more natural and accurate under the light. This could make the fan especially useful in rooms where realistic color reproduction matters, such as dining spaces, dressing areas, or home offices.
The color temperature is adjustable from 2,700K to 5,700K, allowing users to switch between warm, cozy lighting and cooler, brighter tones. Warm light can create a relaxing atmosphere in the evening, while cooler light is better suited for reading, working, or daytime use.
Beyond lighting, the fan is designed for year-round comfort. It supports both forward and reverse rotation. In warmer months, the forward airflow can help cool the room with a gentle breeze. In colder months, reverse operation can help circulate warm air that gathers near the ceiling, improving temperature balance and potentially increasing heating efficiency.
Control options include an included remote, making it easy to adjust settings without relying on a wall switch. The fan is also designed to integrate with smart home systems, giving users more flexibility for automation and connected control depending on regional compatibility.
Pricing has not been officially announced for global markets. The product has appeared through online marketplace listings at around $80, but final pricing may vary by country once Xiaomi confirms regional availability.
With its combination of smart controls, reversible airflow, adjustable color temperature, and high color accuracy lighting, the Xiaomi Mijia Ceiling Fan with Light 36-inch could become an appealing option for users looking to upgrade their home with a compact ceiling fan and LED light fixture in one device. While the global listing is a strong sign of an upcoming international release, buyers will still need to wait for official launch details in their local markets.
