Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its Super Slim Magnetic Power Bank 5000 globally. Initially released in China earlier this year, this sleek and innovative accessory is now featured on the brand’s worldwide website. It’s touted to be nearly 30% slimmer than its predecessor, with an appealing aluminum finish.
This power bank provides two versatile charging options. It includes a magnetic wireless charging pad that effortlessly aligns your phone, offering up to 15W of power. For those needing more, the USB-C port delivers a faster 22.5W charge. The same port is used to recharge the power bank, with LED lights indicating how much juice is left.
Equipped with a 5,000 mAh lithium cobalt oxide battery, it maintains at least 70% efficiency after 300 cycles. This type of battery is denser than others, which helps minimize its size. With a thickness of just 8.7 mm (about 0.3 inches), it is 27.5% slimmer than its predecessor. This compact device measures 102 x 69.6 mm (approximately 4 x 2.7 inches) and weighs 122 g (or around 4.3 oz).
Excitingly, the power bank is set to be available in four stylish colors: blue, gold, purple, and black. While the global release date is not officially confirmed, the device is priced at CNY 199 (roughly $28) in China, giving a hint of its expected cost elsewhere.
Stay tuned for more updates on the international availability and regional pricing of the Xiaomi Super Slim Magnetic Power Bank 5000 as it prepares to make its mark worldwide.
