Xiaomi has introduced its new Slim Magnetic Power Bank 10000 25W, a higher-capacity magnetic battery pack designed for users who want portable charging without carrying a bulky accessory. In Hong Kong, the Xiaomi Slim Magnetic Power Bank 10000 25W is priced at HKD 489, which is roughly $62. By comparison, Xiaomi’s older 5,000 mAh magnetic power bank was listed at HKD 349, around $33. That makes the new version about 40% more expensive, but Xiaomi is also offering notable upgrades in return.
The biggest improvement is charging speed. While the previous UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank supported wireless charging at up to 15 W, the new Slim Magnetic Power Bank 10000 25W increases wireless output to 25 W. This makes it a more appealing option for users who want quicker top-ups while on the move, especially when convenience matters more than plugging in a cable.
Despite its larger battery capacity, the new power bank still focuses on portability. Xiaomi’s Slim Magnetic Power Bank 10000 25W is said to be closer in thickness to the older Super Slim Magnetic Power Bank 5000 rather than the UltraThin Magnetic Power Bank. That positioning suggests Xiaomi is trying to balance a bigger battery with a pocket-friendly form factor.
At launch, the Slim Magnetic Power Bank 10000 25W is available in two finishes: Glacier Silver and Graphite Black. However, it comes in fewer color options than the earlier UltraThin model, which may disappoint buyers looking for more style choices.
