Xiaomi has introduced a new affordable electric toothbrush for shoppers who want smarter oral care without spending much. The Xiaomi Mijia T302 Vibration Suppression Edition has launched in China with a price of 149 yuan, which is roughly $22, making it one of the more budget-friendly sonic toothbrush options in the company’s dental care lineup.
Despite its low price, the Mijia T302 brings several features usually associated with more expensive electric toothbrushes. Xiaomi has designed the toothbrush for users who want effective cleaning but may dislike the strong handle vibration often found on sonic models. To address this, the company has tuned the brush head movement and motor performance to reduce vibration felt in the hand while still delivering strong cleaning action around the teeth and gumline.
The toothbrush uses a quiet brushless motor that is designed to clean away plaque and food debris efficiently, especially near the gums. Xiaomi says the motor improves vibration performance while keeping the brushing experience more comfortable. This could make the T302 a good option for first-time electric toothbrush users or anyone who finds traditional sonic toothbrushes too intense.
The Xiaomi Mijia T302 Vibration Suppression Edition includes four brushing modes to suit different oral care needs. Standard mode is meant for daily cleaning, while Sensitive mode offers a gentler experience for people with sensitive teeth or those new to electric toothbrushes. Gum Massage mode adjusts the bristle movement to help care for sore or bleeding gums, and Polish mode uses high-frequency oscillation to help remove surface stains and improve tooth brightness.
Xiaomi has also focused on the brush head design. The T302 comes with a cushioned, copper-free brush head featuring a dual swirl bristle arrangement that better follows the tooth surface. The rear of the brush head is covered with soft rubber to help absorb impact during brushing, which may reduce discomfort if the head touches the teeth too firmly.
The bristle area is divided into three functional zones. One section is designed for cleaning between teeth, another targets gum massage, and a third focuses on polishing and whitening. Xiaomi says the copper-free design helps lower the risk of internal corrosion in the brush head, which may improve hygiene over time. Like many electric toothbrushes, the bristles gradually fade to remind users when it is time to replace the head, typically around every three months.
Battery life is another standout feature for the price. Xiaomi claims the Mijia T302 can last up to 65 days in Standard mode on a full charge. In Sensitive mode, the battery life can extend up to 150 days, making it especially convenient for travel or users who do not want to charge frequently.
Charging is handled through a 360-degree charging dock, so users do not need to carefully align the toothbrush with a specific connector. A full charge takes about four hours. There is also a two-minute quick charge option, which can be useful when the battery runs low and users need a fast brushing session.
The retail package adds extra value by including the toothbrush handle, charging dock, and four replacement brush heads. That makes the low launch price even more appealing, especially for buyers comparing it with other budget electric toothbrushes.
The Xiaomi Mijia T302 Vibration Suppression Edition is available in two color options: silver gray and frosted purple. For now, the toothbrush has only been announced for the Chinese market, and Xiaomi has not confirmed whether it will be released globally.
