The Xiaomi Redmi Note 17 Pro Max may be getting closer to its global launch, as a new Geekbench 7 listing appears to reveal key details about the upcoming smartphone. The device is expected to sit at the top of the Redmi Note 17 lineup, bringing a large AMOLED display, a massive battery, fast charging, and a newer Snapdragon chipset to international markets.

The benchmark listing shows a Xiaomi device with the model number 2609FRA74G. This same model number was previously associated with the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max through Thailand’s NBTC certification, making the latest appearance another strong sign that the phone is being prepared for release outside China. The “G” at the end of the model number typically points to a global variant.

According to the Geekbench entry, the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max global model is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5. This octa-core processor is paired with an Adreno 812 GPU and is built on a 4nm process. The chipset was introduced in May 2026 and is designed to offer solid mid-range performance with improved efficiency.

The tested unit includes 8GB of RAM and runs Android 16, suggesting that Xiaomi may ship the phone with its latest software experience based on the newest Android version. In benchmark results, the device scored 924 points in the single-core test and 2,923 points in the multi-core test.

While benchmark scores do not always reflect real-world performance perfectly, these early numbers suggest that the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max could deliver dependable everyday performance for gaming, multitasking, streaming, and social media use.

Previous leaks have also painted a promising picture of the phone’s hardware. The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max is rumored to feature a large 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. If accurate, this could make the device appealing to users who want a smooth and sharp screen for videos, gaming, and browsing.

Battery life may be one of the biggest highlights. The phone is tipped to pack a huge 9,210mAh battery, which would be much larger than what is commonly found in mainstream smartphones. It is also expected to support 100W wired fast charging, potentially allowing users to quickly recharge despite the large battery capacity.

For cameras, the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max is said to include a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The inclusion of OIS on the primary camera should help improve low-light photography and reduce blur in handheld shots.

Pricing details remain unofficial, but one earlier leak suggested that the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version could cost around €599, or approximately $692. If that price proves accurate, the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max would compete in the upper mid-range segment, where battery size, display quality, charging speed, and camera performance are key selling points.

Xiaomi has not yet confirmed the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max launch date, full specifications, or global pricing. However, with the device now appearing in certification databases and benchmark listings, an official announcement may not be far away.
