Xiaomi Goes Global With Its Latest Wear OS Smartwatch Launch

Xiaomi has kicked off a global rollout of its new Wear OS smartwatch, the Watch 5, bringing a more health-focused feature set to buyers outside China.

One of the headline additions is the Watch 5’s one-tap health check. With a single tap, the smartwatch can generate a quick snapshot of key wellness metrics in about 60 seconds, including blood oxygen levels, stress, heart rate, and sleep duration. It’s designed for people who want fast, at-a-glance insight into how they’re doing without digging through multiple menus or apps.

For fitness and outdoor tracking, Xiaomi is also leaning on dual-band GNSS positioning. This should improve location accuracy during activities like running, cycling, and walking, and it pairs with the Watch 5’s built-in workout modes that are ready to use right out of the box. For users searching for a Wear OS smartwatch with reliable GPS tracking and easy workout support, this is a clear selling point.

In terms of availability, the global version is launching in two color options: Juniper Green and Black. While Xiaomi offers more finishes in China, these are the two variants being sold internationally. Pricing is set at €299 (around $353) for either color.

Xiaomi is also adding a limited-time purchase incentive for early buyers. Orders placed before the end of March 9 will include a bonus item, with options listed as an Air Fryer 6.5L, Buds 5, or the Massage Gun Mini 2, depending on the promotion terms in each region.

With Wear OS at its core, a fast one-tap health overview, and dual-band GNSS for more dependable outdoor tracking, the Xiaomi Watch 5 is positioned as a fitness-ready smartwatch option for anyone comparing new Wear OS devices in 2026.
