A new benchmark sighting is giving Xiaomi fans an early look at what could be one of the brand’s most powerful phones of 2026. After the standard Xiaomi 17T recently showed up in performance testing, the global variant of the Xiaomi 17T Pro has now appeared on Geekbench AI, offering a clearer picture of what’s powering the upcoming flagship-level device.
The listing identifies the global model as 2602EPTC0G and points to a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM. That’s a notable detail, because the Dimensity 9500 is positioned as MediaTek’s top-tier processor, built on an advanced 3nm process and aimed at premium smartphones. In short, this is the kind of chip expected to deliver faster performance, improved power efficiency, and stronger AI capabilities compared to previous generations.
Geekbench AI results also give a quick snapshot of how the Xiaomi 17T Pro may handle AI-focused workloads. The device recorded 974 points in the single-precision test, 1,171 points in the half-precision test, and 1,334 points in the quantized test. While benchmarks don’t always translate perfectly to real-world use, these scores suggest Xiaomi is targeting a high-performance experience, especially for AI-enhanced features such as on-device image processing, smarter camera functions, and system-level optimizations.
Beyond the chipset, early chatter around the Xiaomi 17T series hints at meaningful battery upgrades compared to the 15T lineup, though camera improvements may be more modest. For context, the previous Xiaomi 15T Pro offered a large 6.83-inch AMOLED display, a Dimensity 9400+ chip, and a 5,500mAh battery, along with a triple rear setup featuring a 50MP main camera, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. If the rumors are accurate, the 17T series could focus more on endurance and efficiency rather than dramatically changing the camera hardware.
As for when the Xiaomi 17T Pro might arrive, the series has already passed multiple certification steps, including IMDA certification in Singapore—often a sign that launch preparations are moving along. Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed an official release date yet, but current expectations suggest the Xiaomi 17T series could debut as early as May 2026.
With a flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, 12GB RAM, and signs pointing toward improved battery performance, the Xiaomi 17T Pro is shaping up to be a major contender in the premium smartphone segment ahead of its global launch.
