Xgimi has expanded the availability of its MoGo 2 Pro (New) portable projector to Europe, following its recent release in the United States. This refreshed model builds on the original MoGo 2 Pro from 2023 with a brighter image and a smarter entertainment platform, aiming to be an easy, grab-and-go projector for movies, streaming, and casual big-screen viewing.
At its core, the MoGo 2 Pro (New) remains a 1080p DLP projector, but Xgimi says the upgraded LED light source can reach up to 430 ISO lumens. That’s a step up from the earlier model’s 400 ISO lumens, which should help in rooms with some ambient light. The projector also supports HDR10 and is rated to cover 90% of the DCI-P3 color space for richer, more cinema-like colors.
For setup, Xgimi focuses on convenience. The projector can create an image up to 120 inches and uses a 1.2:1 throw ratio. Features like automatic focus and keystone correction are designed to reduce fiddling and help you get a sharp, properly aligned picture quickly—useful if you move it between rooms or take it on trips.
One of the biggest changes is the software: instead of Android TV, the MoGo 2 Pro (New) runs Google TV. That means streamlined access to popular streaming apps, plus built-in Google Cast for quick wireless playback from compatible devices. It also supports Google Assistant, so voice commands can be used to search for content, open apps, and control playback.
Audio is handled by dual integrated 8W speakers with Dolby Atmos compatibility, making it more practical to use without external speakers when you’re watching in smaller spaces. Connectivity includes USB-C, USB-A, HDMI, and an AUX-OUT port for wired audio.
Designed to stay portable, the projector weighs about 1 kg (around 2.2 lbs) and measures 157 x 108 x 132 mm (about 6.2 x 4.3 x 5.2 inches), keeping it small enough for a backpack or easy shelf storage.
In Europe, the Xgimi MoGo 2 Pro (New) is listed at €449 in markets such as Germany, sold through Xgimi’s own online store and via Amazon. In the US, it has been seen discounted to $419 on Amazon.
