XGIMI’s Horizon 20 Lights Up the Game with Brighter, Faster Gaming Projectors

Xgimi is leveling up home theater and gaming with its new Horizon 20 projector series, set to debut at IFA 2025. The lineup includes three models—Horizon 20, Horizon 20 Pro, and Horizon 20 Max—designed to deliver brighter visuals, smoother gameplay, and a more flexible setup than previous generations.

Headlining the range is the Horizon 20 Max, a flagship model promising cinema-grade brightness of up to 5,700 ISO lumens. That’s a major step up from older Horizon models like the S Max, which topped out at 3,100 ISO lumens. The Max achieves this with an RGB triple-laser light source paired with Xgimi’s X-Master Red Ring lens, aiming for rich color accuracy and superior clarity in both dark rooms and ambient light.

Gamers are clearly in Xgimi’s sights this year. All Horizon 20 models are said to feature a low latency gaming mode with an impressively low 1 ms input lag, a 240 Hz refresh rate, and variable refresh rate (VRR) support for ultra-smooth motion. The series is also launching in partnership with Assassin’s Creed Shadows, underscoring its gaming-first credentials.

Beyond gaming, the Horizon 20 projectors pack premium cinema features. Expect support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+, Filmmaker Mode, and IMAX Enhanced, along with lens shift and optical zoom for an easier, cleaner installation. A Pro Tuning menu gives enthusiasts deeper control over image settings to dial in the perfect picture for their room and screen.

Smart TV features are built in, running on a version of Android TV with native Netflix support for easy streaming right out of the box.

Pricing and global availability for the Horizon 20, Horizon 20 Pro, and Horizon 20 Max have yet to be announced.
