As Xbox Game Pass continually evolves with new additions, it also sees the departure of some of its games. February will be no exception, as subscribers will wave goodbye to two games in the middle of the month.
The ever-growing library of Xbox Game Pass will receive at least four new games on February 6, providing fresh content for members. However, with the influx of games, space is created by the removal of others from the platform. On February 15, two titles will be leaving Xbox Game Pass: OPUS: Echo of Starsong (Full Bloom Edition) and Galactic Civilizations III.
Members of Xbox Game Pass who have grown fond of these games have the opportunity to purchase them before they disappear from the service. In a bid to encourage this, Microsoft is extending its member-exclusive perk—a 20 percent discount on the purchase of these soon-to-depart games.
OPUS: Echo of Starsong – Full Bloom Edition offers a rich narrative and explorative adventure where players dive into the role of Eda, a girl with the unique ability to hear mystic star songs. She, along with a companion named Lee, sets out across the cosmos to uncover the mysteries of these celestial melodies. The Full Bloom Edition enhances the original title with revamped graphics, additional narrative content, and a refined user interface, accessible to gamers on both console and PC.
Galactic Civilizations III is a sweeping 4X strategy experience designed with PC gamers in mind. Aspiring space emperors will research new technologies, engage in diplomacy, or assert their dominance with military power to construct a sprawling space empire. Known for its rich, strategic layers and ship customizations, Galactic Civilizations III offers a dynamic universe in both solo and online multiplayer adventures.
The trimming of these titles from Xbox Game Pass’ roster is a natural cycle allowing for the inclusion of new and refreshing gaming experiences. Those interested in these games should consider the current discount and secure their copies while they are still available on the Game Pass.
