Vivo Y300 Pro Benchmark Leak Reveals Disappointing Specs for Upcoming Mid-Range Model

The Y300 Pro is the first device to showcase Vivo’s next-gen industrial design for Android smartphones. This model boasts one of the company’s latest and highest-capacity batteries with decent fast charging capabilities. A recent Geekbench listing, however, suggests that these features might be the highlight of the device’s specs.

The Vivo Y300 Pro is presented as a notable advancement in its series, debuting with a new Blue Ocean battery rated at a massive 6,500mAh capacity, capable of 80W Flash Charging. The battery is housed within a rear panel that features an updated “Jade Ring” camera bump, which combines the design elements of the flagship X100 Ultra with the ring-flash found on the Y200.

Despite these innovations, the Y300 Pro is not positioned as a flagship device. Geekbench results show that the Vivo V2410A, believed to be the Y300 Pro, runs on a processor resembling the aging Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. The processor includes 4 ARM cores clocked at 1.8GHz and 4 more at 2.21GHz, codenamed “parrot.” The benchmark scores reflect modest performance, with multi-core scores not exceeding 2,801 and single-core scores falling below 1,000.

On a positive note, the “Y300 Pro” is equipped with 12GB of RAM and runs Android 14. Nevertheless, in terms of overall performance, it may soon be outclassed by other devices that offer similar design aesthetics.
