Vivo has unveiled the iQOO 15 Ultra, a new flagship gaming phone that aims to deliver top-tier performance without sacrificing the premium features many gamers still want in an everyday device. From its ultra-bright high-refresh display to a surprisingly capable camera system, this model is positioned as a serious all-rounder in the gaming smartphone segment.
Up front, the iQOO 15 Ultra features a large 6.85-inch AMOLED display built for speed and clarity. It packs a sharp 3168 x 1440 resolution and a buttery-smooth 144Hz refresh rate, giving competitive games and fast scrolling a noticeably more responsive feel. Brightness is also a highlight: the panel reaches a peak HDR brightness of up to 8,000 nits, while full-screen brightness is rated at 2,600 nits, making it easier to see in bright environments and helping HDR content look more impactful.
Battery life is another major selling point. The phone comes with a massive 7,400mAh battery designed to handle long gaming sessions, streaming, and daily use without constant charging breaks. When it is time to top up, it supports up to 100W USB-C fast charging, plus 40W wireless charging for more convenient power-ups.
Unlike many gaming-focused phones that compromise heavily on photography, the iQOO 15 Ultra takes a more balanced approach with a triple 50MP rear camera setup. The main camera is a 50MP f/1.9 unit with a 1/1.56-inch sensor, aimed at delivering solid low-light performance and detailed shots. It is joined by a 50MP f/2.05 ultra-wide camera using a 1/2.76-inch sensor for landscapes, group photos, and wider scenes. Rounding out the system is a 50MP f/2.65 telephoto camera with a larger 1/1.95-inch sensor and 3x optical zoom, giving users true zoom capability without relying purely on digital cropping.
For selfies and video calls, Vivo includes a 32MP f/2.2 front camera placed neatly in a centered punch-hole cutout. Security and convenience are handled by an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor built into the display, which is typically faster and more reliable than older optical in-screen sensors, especially in challenging conditions.
With a high-resolution 144Hz AMOLED screen, extremely high brightness, a huge battery with fast wired and wireless charging, and a camera system that goes beyond typical gaming-phone expectations, the Vivo iQOO 15 Ultra looks built for players who want flagship-level features in a performance-first package.
