Developed by British studio Merge Games and published by Maximum Entertainment, this survival adventure launched on Steam on February 15, 2024, and drops you into a dangerous world from a very different point of view: you’re a tiny, fairy-like creature trying to survive in the human world.
Your mission revolves around finding the Elixir of Life, but getting there isn’t simple. Because of your size, even the smallest creatures become serious threats. Insects that would normally be background scenery can turn into deadly enemies in a fight, and the world doesn’t stay calm for long. Changing weather and shifting conditions force you to adapt as you explore, making planning and preparation a major part of staying alive.
Like the best survival crafting games, progression comes from smart resource gathering and building. You’ll collect materials to craft weapons, improve your equipment, and create shelters that can keep you safe as you push deeper into the wild. Where you place your base matters, too, since the environment can be as dangerous as the creatures in it.
Player reception on Steam has been strong. With 9,679 user reviews and 82% rated positive, it currently sits in the “Very Positive” category. Many players praise the visuals and the variety of the open world, and while combat is described as fairly straightforward, there’s still a good selection of weapons to experiment with. Another highlight is co-op play, letting you team up online with up to 10 players, which can make exploration, base-building, and survival a lot more fun (and a lot less stressful).
That said, it’s not without flaws.
