Unveiling the Roborock P20 Ultra: A Cutting-Edge Robot Vacuum with Innovative Retractable LDS

In a thrilling development for smart home enthusiasts, Roborock has given a sneak peek of its newest marvel, the P20 Ultra robot vacuum, in China. Following the successful launch of the P20 Pro, known internationally as the Roborock Qrevo Curv, the P20 Ultra promises to elevate the brand’s lineup with cutting-edge features.

Recent teasers on Weibo reveal that the P20 Ultra boasts a retracting LDS navigation module. This innovative technology, also used in the Saros 10, is being branded as RetractSense. The advantage? Enhanced mobility under low furniture, thanks to its minimal height of just 7.98 cm (approximately 3.1 inches). This makes it one of Roborock’s slimmest models yet.

The P20 Ultra is designed with versatility in mind, featuring two docking stations similar to the Curv’s dome-shaped dock. One docking station potentially integrates with home plumbing, while the other is equipped with water tanks, offering a comprehensive solution for cleaning needs. Additionally, the device is expected to feature the FlexiArm extending brush, ensuring every corner and edge is spotless.

While detailed specs such as suction power, battery life, and mopping technologies are yet to be disclosed, all eyes are on the upcoming unveiling in China on March 10th, where more information, including pricing, will be available. This release follows Roborock’s global introduction of the Qrevo Curv S5X and Qrevo Edge S5A, cost-effective alternatives to their premium counterparts.

Stay tuned as the Roborock P20 Ultra prepares to enter the scene and revolutionize the way we think about robotic cleaning.
