Introducing the Affordable Roborock Qrevo Curv S5X Robot Vacuum

The exciting and budget-friendly Roborock Qrevo Curv S5X robot vacuum has just hit the shelves, offering a more economical option for tech-savvy home cleaners. This new model is a streamlined version of the previous Qrevo Curv, which made its debut last year. By trimming down several features, Roborock has managed to deliver a more affordable yet effective vacuum cleaner to the market.

Notably, the Qrevo Curv S5X omits the AdaptiLift Chassis from its design, a feature found in the original model that allowed the robot to elevate its body by up to 10mm, helping it navigate over taller obstacles with ease. Also absent in this version is the Hello Rocky voice assistant, removing an alternative communication method to the existing brand-specific app for its predecessor. Additionally, while the suction power has been tweaked, it still maintains a respectable 17,000Pa, slightly dialed down from the 18,500Pa offered by the regular Qrevo Curv.

Despite these cuts, many beloved features remain untouched. The DuoDivide Main Brush and FlexiArm Arc Side Brush continue to be part of this new model, ensuring efficient cleaning. Furthermore, both the newer and older versions boast Reactive Obstacle avoidance technology. They also include the Multifunctional Dock 3.0, equipped with hot water cleaning and warm air drying capabilities.

The Roborock Qrevo Curv S5X is attractively priced at $999.99 (€999.99) and buyers can further enjoy a discount of $150 (€150) on Amazon. For comparison, the original model had a launch price of $1,599.99 (€1,499.99) but is now available at a reduced rate of $1,299.99 (€1,274.99).

Roborock has also introduced a lower-cost version of another model— Qrevo Edge S5A— following a similar strategy of offering compelling performance at a more accessible price. These strategic moves not only make advanced robotic cleaning technology more attainable but also keep Roborock at the forefront of innovation in the home cleaning space.
