Unveiling of the NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell ‘Server’ Edition in 2U Design by Leading Providers Imminent

NVIDIA has just unveiled its powerful RTX PRO Blackwell GPU in a 2U server configuration, now accessible through leading server providers. This development offers customers a broader array of computing choices.

In a strategic move, NVIDIA announced that the NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPU is set to enhance the world’s leading enterprise servers. This shift marks a significant transition from traditional CPU systems to advanced accelerated computing platforms.

These new 2U mainstream servers empower global enterprises to leverage the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture within popular rack-mounted systems. This innovation promises exceptional performance and efficiency, revolutionizing data centers worldwide.

Renowned system partners such as Cisco, Dell Technologies, HPE, Lenovo, and Supermicro will offer these NVIDIA RTX PRO Servers. Available in multiple configurations, these servers deliver universal acceleration for enterprise tasks ranging from AI and content creation to data analytics, graphics, scientific simulations, and industrial AI.

Every year, businesses invest heavily in servers for their workloads. With the growing importance of AI, these enterprises can now transition to accelerated servers. The RTX PRO Servers infuse GPU acceleration into traditional CPU-based tasks, such as data analytics, simulation, video processing, and graphics rendering. This leads to remarkable improvements, boasting up to 45 times better performance and 18 times higher energy efficiency, significantly reducing costs compared to CPU-only systems.

NVIDIA’s RTX PRO Servers represent a transformative on-premises infrastructure solution. They bring the revolutionary Blackwell performance to enterprises constructing AI-driven data centers that face constraints in space, power, and cooling.

Moreover, these systems form the core infrastructure for the NVIDIA AI Data Platform, which is a customizable design for building modern storage systems tailored for enterprise AI needs. During SIGGRAPH, Dell introduced updates to its AI Data Platform, integrating with NVIDIA’s AI Data Platform reference design. These include Dell PowerEdge R7725 2U servers equipped with dual RTX PRO 6000 GPUs, NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, and advanced NVIDIA networking capabilities.

These new 2U systems now join the NVIDIA RTX PRO Server family, initially unveiled in May at COMPUTEX. Offering diverse rack-mounted designs capable of housing two, four, or eight NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPUs, these servers are ideal for enterprises aiming to maximize performance, efficiency, and cost savings.
