The world of wearable technology is buzzing with excitement as three new additions to the Casio G-Shock lineup have recently been unveiled through leaked images. These upcoming models, part of the GMD-B300 series, are set to make their debut in Japan and promise to bring fresh vibrancy to the classic G-Shock style.
The soon-to-be-released models include the GMD-B300SC-4, GMD-B300SC-7, and GMD-B300SC-2. Each watch offers a unique color scheme sure to appeal to style-savvy tech enthusiasts. The GMD-B300SC-4 boasts a striking coral tone complemented by red accents, the GMD-B300SC-7 features a crisp white design with bold yellow stripes, and the GMD-B300SC-2 presents an eye-catching turquoise offset with blue highlights.
Although Casio has yet to unveil the full technical specifications for these models, speculation suggests they’ll share similar features with the earlier GMD-B300-1, released in 2024. These predecessor models are known for their seamless Bluetooth connectivity and functionality-enhancing tools, such as Phone Finder and Stopwatch Data Transfer via the Casio Watches smartphone app. Additionally, they come equipped with a step counter, dual time zone display, a precise 1/100-second stopwatch, a countdown timer, and five daily alarms. The convenience doesn’t stop there; the watches feature a white LED backlight for ease of reading in the dark, and they boast an impressive two-year battery life with a CR2016 battery.
Mark your calendars for February if you’re in Japan, as the new GMD-B300SC watches are expected to hit the shelves then, priced at approximately ¥17,600 (around $113). While the exact launch date remains a mystery and global availability is still uncertain, these new models are surely poised to capture interest far beyond Japanese borders. Stay tuned for more updates about this exciting release.
