Ugreen Nexode Air 45W Charger Launches in the UK With Foldable Pins and USB-C Fast Charging
Ugreen has introduced its Nexode Air 45W Charger in the UK, bringing a compact USB-C fast charger option to users who want a travel-friendly power adapter for smartphones, tablets, and other compatible devices.
The charger has already appeared in other regions, including the US and parts of Europe, but the UK version arrives with a slightly different design. Because it uses the UK’s 3-pin Type G plug, it is expected to be wider than some earlier versions. To help with portability, Ugreen has designed the pins to fold flat against the charger body, making it easier to carry in a bag, pouch, or pocket when not in use.
The Ugreen Nexode Air 45W Charger features a single USB-C port and supports up to 45W fast charging. According to Ugreen, this output can charge an iPhone 17 up to 70% in around 30 minutes. The company also claims it can charge an iPad with an A16 chip to approximately 35% in the same amount of time, making it useful for quick top-ups during travel, work, or study sessions.
One of the key features is Smart Care Charging, a battery protection system designed to adjust power delivery as the connected device charges. This is especially useful once a battery reaches higher levels, such as above 80%, where reducing charging power can help support long-term battery health.
Ugreen has also included 12 safety protections in the Nexode Air 45W Charger. These include safeguards against overheating, overcurrent, and short circuits, giving users added peace of mind when charging their devices at home, in the office, or while traveling.
The Ugreen Nexode Air 45W Charger is now available in the UK for £24.99. At launch, it comes in Ugreen’s familiar dark metallic gray finish. Additional color options may be introduced later, though the company has not confirmed further variants yet.
