UGREEN launches new high-capacity power bank with 130W fast charging support

UGREEN, a noteworthy company in the world of portable chargers, has launched a new high-capacity power bank that is capturing the attention of tech enthusiasts. This launch introduced the “Energy Pai Pro” series, which includes a formidable model boasting a 20,000 mAh capacity and an impressive 130W fast-charging capability.

The standout feature of this new power bank is its ability to charge a MacBook Air 13 M2 by up to 55% in just 30 minutes, showcasing the product’s rapid charging functionality. This capability isn’t limited to just Apple products; UGREEN points out that an iPhone 15 Pro can reach 60%, and a Huawei Mate 60 Pro can achieve 51% charge within the same timeframe. A remarkable fact is that the Vivo X100 Pro can be fully charged in only 32 minutes.

Charging the power bank itself is equally efficient. It can go from an empty battery to full charge in approximately 2 hours, thanks to its maximum charging input of 65W. The high battery capacity also means it can deliver multiple charges to various devices – for example, it can fully charge an iPhone 15 Pro up to four times, a 2021 iPad Pro 11 1.5 times, and a Mate 60 Pro 2.9 times.

The durability and longevity of the batteries within this power bank are likened to that of car-grade batteries. UGREEN claims that even after 1000 charge and discharge cycles, the batteries can maintain over 80% of their capacity, indicating high-quality battery technology.

The 130W Energy Pai Pro power bank is also equipped with ThermalGuard technology for enhanced safety. This technology reportedly performs temperature measurements 200 times every minute, an important feature when it comes to ensuring a stable and secure fast charging experience. Additional protection features have been incorporated to provide users with added confidence while powering their devices.

For those who require versatile connectivity options, the power bank offers one USB Type-A port and two USB Type-C ports serving different output needs. One Type-C port can deliver up to 100W of power, while the other provides 30W, and the Type-A port offers 22.5W. Compatibility with a range of charging protocols including PPS, PD, QC, UFCS, and SCP ensures a wide range of devices can benefit from the power bank.

In terms of pricing, the 130W Energy Pai Pro power bank is priced at CNY 349, equivalent to around $48 in China. UGREEN has yet to release specific details concerning the global pricing and availability, but considering their track record of offering products internationally, it’s anticipated that they will soon release this model in other markets.

For those who need an alternative that’s readily available globally, the CUKTECH 20, currently priced at $99.99 on Amazon, can be a viable option, providing similar high-capacity, rapid charging solutions for a range of electronic devices. With the launch of the Energy Pai Pro, UGREEN has undoubtedly bolstered its portfolio and solidified its standing within the portable charging sector.
