Sega and Two Point Studios have rolled out a big new content drop for Two Point Museum, and it’s one that’s likely to catch the eye of anyone who loves quirky management sims. Update 8.0 is now live across all platforms, adding an Angry Birds-themed crossover alongside a spring seasonal refresh packed with new activities, exhibits, decorations, and quality-of-life improvements.
The headline addition is a brand-new Digiverse Rift inspired by Rovio’s Angry Birds universe. If you’ve spent time with Two Point Museum’s Digiverse expedition map, you already know it’s designed to keep expanding with fresh Points of Interest, new exhibits, and themed décor pulled from different “universes.” This time, the portal opens into a feather-ruffling adventure that brings Red and the rest of the flock to Two Point County.
In practical gameplay terms, the Angry Birds content gives you new ways to entertain visitors while also introducing troublemakers: the Bad Piggies. You’ll be able to lean on the birds to energize bird-loving guests and help protect your exhibits from piggy mischief. The Digiverse Rift also unlocks Piggy Island, a new area built around Angry Birds-style exploration where your expedition team can uncover artifacts from the crossover world. It even sets the stage for what the update calls the first-ever bird wildlife exhibit, expanding what you can showcase beyond traditional displays.
The Angry Birds update includes several concrete additions for collectors and decorators. You can visit Piggy Island and explore three new Points of Interest: Cobalt Plateaus, Bamboo Forest, and Pig City. Your museum’s retail side gets an upgrade too, with new gift shop items themed around Angry Birds merchandise. Exhibit hunters have plenty to chase as well, with nine new exhibits to collect, including an interactive display and roaming wildlife exhibits. And if you love theming your halls, there are new decoration items along with fresh wallpaper and flooring options, letting you transform your museum into a fully styled Angryverse attraction.
Alongside the crossover, Two Point Museum also gets a spring seasonal update designed to freshen up your building and add new reasons to send expeditions back out. This seasonal content introduces two new Points of Interest that make up the Easter Isles, tucked away in Scorched Earth. As you explore, you’ll discover three new exhibits, including an adorable habitat critter described as fluffy and newly out of hibernation, plus botany-related discoveries that bring a more “in bloom” vibe to your display lineup.
Spring cleaning is a major theme here, and it shows in the customization additions. The update adds new décor items and extra options for walls and floors, helping you brighten up galleries and build a more seasonal look. On the visitor-attraction side, there are also new Chocolate Cake Kiosks and baskets of chocolate eggs, designed to help pull in guests—especially the Egg Hunters, a new visitor type encouraged by the seasonal content.
Beyond the themed additions, the free update also includes general improvements and extra progression hooks. High-level players can earn new Curator-Class rewards tied to advanced museum management. Outdoor areas get more attention too, with items like picnic tables arriving just in time for warmer-weather layouts. And for players focusing on aquatic displays, Briny Bay is now filled with marine life to better support water exhibits.
Two Point Museum has been available since March 2025 on Windows PC, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PlayStation 5. With Update 8.0 now live, it’s a great moment to jump back in, expand your expedition routes, and give your museum a playful Angry Birds makeover while prepping your exhibits for a busy spring season.
