AceMagic F7A Mini PC Could Bring Intel Panther Lake Power With Up to 64GB RAM
AceMagic appears to be preparing a new compact desktop that could appeal to users who want serious performance in a very small footprint. After introducing the AceMagic F2A mini PC, the company is now reportedly working on a larger model called the AceMagic F7A, which may offer the same Intel Core Ultra X7 “Panther Lake” processor but with double the memory.
The biggest highlight of the upcoming AceMagic F7A mini PC is its expected 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM. That would make it a stronger option for demanding multitasking, productivity workloads, creative software, coding, browser-heavy workflows, and light gaming. For users who want a mini PC that can replace a traditional desktop without taking up much space, the F7A could become an interesting choice.
Compared with the smaller AceMagic F2A, the F7A is expected to have a larger chassis. The reported dimensions are 143 x 143 x 40 mm, or about 5.6 x 5.6 x 1.57 inches. That gives it a total volume of around 0.81 liters, noticeably larger than the F2A’s roughly 0.6-liter body.
That extra space could potentially allow AceMagic to improve thermal performance, although that has not been confirmed yet. Better cooling would be especially useful in a compact PC powered by a high-performance chip like Intel’s Core Ultra X7. Mini PCs often face thermal limitations, so a slightly larger body may help sustain stronger performance under longer workloads.
The AceMagic F2A is already known for supporting Intel’s latest Core Ultra X7 “Panther Lake” chip, along with AMD’s Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 “Gorgon Point” APU option. The F7A, however, appears to focus on the Intel-powered configuration, pairing the Panther Lake processor with up to 64GB of LPDDR5X memory.
Performance comparisons between the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H and AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 show an interesting split. Intel’s chip is said to hold a small advantage in single-threaded performance, coming in around 3% faster. That can help with tasks that rely heavily on individual core speed, including general responsiveness, some productivity apps, and everyday desktop use.
AMD’s Ryzen AI 9 HX 470, on the other hand, reportedly performs about 15% better in multi-threaded workloads. That could make the AMD option more appealing for users who frequently run heavily threaded tasks such as rendering, compiling, encoding, or advanced multitasking.
However, the Intel Panther Lake option appears to have a major advantage in integrated graphics performance. Since most mini PCs in this category do not include a dedicated graphics card, the built-in GPU matters a lot. The Core Ultra X7 is expected to feature Intel’s Arc B390 integrated GPU, which reportedly delivers a massive 88% improvement over the Radeon 890M integrated graphics found in the AMD Gorgon Point APU.
That makes the Intel-based AceMagic F7A especially attractive for users interested in casual gaming, emulation, media work, GPU-accelerated tasks, and high-resolution display support. While it will not replace a full gaming desktop with a discrete graphics card, a powerful integrated GPU can make a big difference in a mini PC.
Pricing and availability for the AceMagic F7A have not been announced yet. The device has also not appeared on AceMagic’s official product listings at the time of writing. Still, based on the expected specifications, it is unlikely to be a budget mini PC.
The smaller AceMagic F2A reportedly starts at around $1,100, and the F7A’s larger design and 64GB RAM option could push the price higher. Current memory and storage market conditions may also contribute to a more expensive launch price, especially for configurations with high-capacity LPDDR5X RAM.
For buyers who want a more affordable compact desktop, there are lower-cost alternatives on the market, such as the Minisforum X1 Lite, which has been available for under $700. However, users looking for a premium mini PC with next-generation Intel Panther Lake performance, strong integrated graphics, and up to 64GB of RAM may want to keep an eye on the AceMagic F7A.
If the reported specifications hold true, the AceMagic F7A could become one of the more powerful compact PCs in its class, offering a compelling mix of small size, high memory capacity, modern CPU performance, and impressive integrated graphics potential.
