Timex’s Swiss-Made GMT Duo Hits All-Time Low Prices, Stainless Steel Model Included

Swiss-Made Q Timex GMT Drops to Record-Low Prices in Bracelet and Strap Versions

The Q Timex GMT has become a standout option for watch fans who want vintage styling, practical travel-watch functionality, and a Swiss-made movement without spending luxury-watch money. Now, two versions of the model have dropped to unusually low prices, making the retro-inspired GMT even more tempting.

The stainless steel bracelet version, reference TW2V38100, is currently listed at $134, well below its $259 retail price. That is also lower than the previous widely tracked low of around $164. The synthetic strap version, reference TW2V38200, has fallen even further, reaching $104 compared with its $239 list price.

Both watches share the same core design, case, and movement. The main difference is the way they wear: one comes on a stainless steel bracelet for a more classic and polished look, while the other uses a black synthetic strap for a more casual feel.

What makes this Q Timex GMT especially interesting is the movement inside. Unlike many of the more affordable Q Timex reissues, these models use a Swiss quartz GMT caliber. The dials also carry the Swiss Made marking, which helps separate them from standard quartz models in the lineup.

The GMT function allows the wearer to track a second time zone using the independently adjustable 24-hour hand and rotating bezel. For frequent travelers, remote workers, or anyone who keeps track of friends, family, or business in another region, that added function is genuinely useful.

The case measures 38 mm wide and 12.5 mm thick, giving it a compact vintage-inspired profile that should suit a wide range of wrists. It uses a mix of brushed and polished stainless steel surfaces, along with 18 mm lugs and 50 meters of water resistance.

Timex also kept the acrylic crystal, staying faithful to the 1970s-style design language that inspired the Q line. Acrylic can scratch more easily than mineral or sapphire glass, but it also has a warm vintage look and can often be polished back to clarity with the right product.

Other practical features include a date window at 3 o’clock, luminous hands and markers, and the distinctive black dial paired with a blue-and-red bezel on the bracelet model. The strap version keeps the same overall personality but presents it in a more understated package.

The lower pricing comes through Jomashop, a grey-market retailer. That means the watches are genuine, but they are not sold through Timex’s authorized retail channel. As a result, Timex’s standard warranty does not apply. Instead, warranty coverage is provided by the retailer for one year.

Returns are typically available within 30 days if the watch is kept in original condition, though shipping may be deducted from the refund and a restocking fee may apply if the item shows signs of use.

For a quartz Timex at this price, the grey-market trade-off may be easier to accept than it would be for a much more expensive mechanical watch. Buyers who want the full manufacturer-backed buying experience may prefer an authorized retailer, but those focused on getting the lowest price may find this deal hard to ignore.

With its Swiss-made GMT movement, compact 38 mm case, vintage Q Timex styling, and current discounted pricing, the Q Timex GMT is one of the more compelling affordable travel watches available right now. Prices and availability can change quickly, so anyone interested may want to act before the deal disappears.
