Limited-Edition Windows 95-Inspired Watch Turns the Classic Mouse Pointer Into a Wearable Timepiece
A nostalgic new watch is bringing retro desktop style to the wrist. The Benly Watch Desktop 95 Limited Edition takes inspiration from the unmistakable look of classic Windows 95-era computing, transforming the familiar mouse pointer into a quirky analog watch design.
At first glance, the watch stands out because of its unusual dial. Instead of going for a traditional minimalist face, it leans fully into vintage PC aesthetics, making it an appealing collectible for fans of retro technology, old-school operating systems, and unique everyday accessories.
Despite its playful design, the watch itself uses fairly standard hardware. It features a round stainless steel case measuring 39 millimeters in diameter, giving it a wearable size that should suit a wide range of wrists. The case also offers 5 ATM water resistance, meaning it can handle everyday splashes and light water exposure.
The included strap is removable and can be swapped for any standard 20-millimeter watch strap, giving buyers more flexibility if they want to personalize the look. Inside, the watch uses an unspecified quartz movement from a Swiss manufacturer, which the brand says provides accurate timekeeping.
The Benly Watch Desktop 95 Limited Edition is available to preorder now through the manufacturer’s online store. Shipping is expected to begin in November.
Buyers can choose between two different dial designs and three strap options. The versions with either a leather strap or Milanese mesh bracelet are priced at $159. The model with a metal link bracelet costs slightly more at $169.
Worldwide shipping is included at no extra cost, making the watch available to collectors internationally. However, availability is extremely limited, with only 500 units being produced.
For anyone who enjoys nostalgic tech design, retro computing culture, or limited-edition watches with personality, the Benly Watch Desktop 95 Limited Edition offers a fun mix of old-school desktop charm and practical quartz timekeeping.
