Thermaltake CAPO X Full Tower Case Launches With Support for Two Separate PCs
Thermaltake has launched the CAPO X, a distinctive full tower PC case built for users who want to run two independent computer systems inside a single chassis. After being showcased last month, the case is now available in Taiwan for NT$5,990, which is roughly $186.
The Thermaltake CAPO X stands out because it is not just another large desktop case. It is designed around a dual-system layout, making it a practical option for gamers, streamers, content creators, and professionals who need two PCs but want to save desk space. Instead of placing two separate towers side by side, users can build both systems in one enclosure while keeping each setup physically and electrically independent.
This design opens up several interesting possibilities. A user could dedicate one system to high-performance gaming while the second handles livestreaming, video capture, productivity software, or background tasks. It could also be useful for creators who want one PC for editing and another for rendering, testing, or work-related applications.
Each side of the CAPO X supports a microATX motherboard, including newer rear-connector motherboard layouts that help keep cable clutter out of sight. This makes the case appealing for builders who care about clean aesthetics and organized internal layouts.
Thermaltake has also equipped each chamber with five expansion slots, giving both systems enough flexibility for graphics cards and other add-in components. Another major advantage is that each system gets its own dedicated power supply compartment. This means both PCs can run independently without needing to share a single PSU, improving reliability and giving users more control over each build.
Hardware compatibility is generous for a dual-system chassis. The CAPO X supports graphics cards up to 420 mm in length and CPU air coolers up to 180 mm in height, making it suitable for powerful gaming and workstation-class components. Each section also includes multiple storage mounting options for HDDs and SSDs, allowing users to configure the case for speed, capacity, or a mix of both.
The front I/O layout is also separated for each system. This gives users individual access to power controls and front-facing ports without interfering with the other PC. For a dual-computer setup, that small design choice can make daily use much more convenient.
The CAPO X is available in both black and white, giving builders options depending on the look they want for their setup. With its unusual dual-PC design, independent power supply support, spacious hardware clearance, and clean cable management potential, the Thermaltake CAPO X is one of the more interesting full tower cases aimed at advanced PC builders.
For users who want to combine a gaming rig and a streaming PC, or simply run two separate systems from one desktop enclosure, the CAPO X offers a space-saving and flexible solution.
