Netmarble has acknowledged a wave of Version 1.0 launch issues affecting The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin during its Early Play period, confirming that players on PS5 and Steam are running into multiple problems just days after the game became playable. The developer says it’s actively investigating what’s causing the bugs, working on fixes, and will continue updating its official “known issues” notice as more problems are identified or resolved.
The timing is important. Early Play for PlayStation 5 and Steam began on March 16, 2026, giving console and PC players the first hands-on access. However, the wider release is still ahead: the Grand Launch for iOS, Android, and Google Play Games is scheduled for March 23, 2026. In other words, many of the most visible bug reports are surfacing during the game’s first week on PC and console rather than after the full mobile rollout. That also means Netmarble has a short runway to improve stability before the player base expands significantly.
Audio problems are quickly becoming one of the most talked-about launch issues. The game itself displays an in-game notice warning that sound may not play properly in certain situations, and player reports in community discussions appear to echo that message. Some players have described scenarios where background music works but dialogue and sound effects sound muffled, while others claim audio cuts out entirely after the company intro. While those comments don’t confirm a single root cause, the consistency between player complaints and the in-game warning suggests the sound issue is affecting more than a small handful of setups.
Netmarble’s Version 1.0 known issues notice also points to problems beyond audio. One of the listed concerns involves party play, where joining a party may fail under certain conditions. The company notes that if reconnecting doesn’t solve the issue, players may need to reach out to customer support—an indication that some cases aren’t fixed by a quick restart or simple troubleshooting.
For now, Netmarble’s central message is straightforward: the studio is tracking the launch problems, fixes are in progress, and the known-issues notice will remain the primary place for updates as Early Play continues. With the mobile Grand Launch arriving soon, the next several days will be critical for smoothing out performance, audio, and multiplayer stability before The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin reaches a much broader audience.
