Tecno Spark 50 Pro debuts with slim rugged design, 120Hz display, and 6,000mAh battery
Tecno has introduced the Spark 50 Pro in Hong Kong, bringing a mix of durability, long battery life, and modern AI-powered features to the mid-range smartphone market. The device stands out with a slim 7.8mm profile while still offering a rugged build designed to handle everyday accidents.
The Tecno Spark 50 Pro features a 6.78-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, making scrolling, gaming, and video playback feel smoother than on standard 60Hz panels. Despite its sleek body, the phone is built with resistance against drops, dust, and water, giving it extra appeal for users who want a stylish device that can survive rougher daily use.
Powering the phone is the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate chipset, a 4G-focused processor aimed at reliable everyday performance. Tecno is also using its Memory Fusion 4.0 technology, which combines physical RAM with storage-based virtual memory to offer up to 24GB of expanded RAM. According to the company, this helps the phone handle multitasking more efficiently and can support local AI assistant features.
Photography is another key highlight of the Spark 50 Pro. The smartphone includes a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main camera paired with Tecno’s FlashSnap technology. This system is designed to capture fast-moving subjects with shutter speeds of up to 1/10,000 of a second, making it useful for sports, pets, kids, and other action shots.
Tecno has also added Universal Tone technology to improve skin tone accuracy in photos. For users who like editing images directly on their phones, the Spark 50 Pro includes AI Eraser 2.0 and AI Extender, allowing objects to be removed or photos to be expanded with AI assistance. Details about the remaining camera sensors have not yet been confirmed.
Battery life should be one of the biggest selling points of the Tecno Spark 50 Pro. The phone is equipped with a large 6,000mAh battery and supports 60W fast charging, which should help reduce downtime when the device needs a top-up. Tecno has also mentioned a separate 5,600mAh battery version, though it has not explained why two battery options exist.
The Spark 50 Pro will be available in several color options, including Dynamic Orange, Midnight Blue, Ink Black, Titanium Grey, and Cloud White. These finishes give buyers a wide range of choices, from bold and bright to more classic and understated.
Tecno has not yet announced official pricing or broader availability details for the Spark 50 Pro.
