TCL’s A400 4K Art TV Is Heading to Europe Soon

TCL is bringing its A400 Pro NXTVISION TV to Europe, giving shoppers a fresh alternative to lifestyle TVs designed to look like wall art when they’re not in use. First launched in China in late 2025, the A400 Pro is positioned for people who want a premium 4K display that blends into a living space rather than dominating it.

On TCL’s global listings, the A400 Pro appears in five large-format sizes: 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, 85-inch, and 98-inch. Each model is built around a slim profile and finished with a light walnut woodgrain-style frame to reinforce the “art TV” look. When you’re not watching movies or playing games, the TV can display artwork, and an integrated ambient light sensor automatically adjusts brightness to suit the room—helping images look more like a framed piece on the wall and less like a glowing screen.

Under the hood, this is a 4K QD-Mini LED TV using an HVA panel and a matte screen finish. That matte coating is designed to reduce reflections and further support the artwork illusion. TCL lists a native 144Hz refresh rate, with an additional high-frame-rate mode that can be boosted up to 288Hz. Color performance is also a focus, with coverage claimed at 93% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Typical brightness is listed up to 400 nits, and the TV supports major HDR formats including Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, and HLG, aiming to deliver improved contrast and more accurate highlights across supported content.

For gamers, TCL includes features meant to make play smoother and more responsive. The A400 Pro comes with Game Master tools and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro to help reduce screen tearing and keep motion looking clean during fast-paced gameplay.

Smart TV duties are handled by Google TV, opening the door to a large selection of streaming apps along with Google Assistant support and Miracast for wireless screen sharing. On the connectivity side, the set includes Wi‑Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.4, plus multiple physical inputs including HDMI 2.1 with eARC for easier pairing with soundbars and home theater gear. Audio is covered by a built-in 2.0-channel Onkyo Hi‑Fi system with Dolby Atmos compatibility.

TCL has already confirmed pricing for the UK, and interestingly, the UK range will include a smaller 43-inch variant not shown in the global size list. UK prices are set at £599 for the 43-inch model, while the 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch versions will cost £899, £1,099, and £1,399, respectively. A specific UK release date hasn’t been announced yet, and it’s still unclear when or whether additional European markets—or the US—will receive the A400 Pro NXTVISION lineup.
