Talaria Komodo Roars In: All-New Electric Dirt Bike Hits 105 km/h and Up to 115 km on a Charge

Talaria has officially introduced the Komodo, a new electric dirt bike built for riders who want real off-road capability without giving up serious speed. Launched for the global market, the Talaria Komodo combines a high-output electric motor, a large-capacity battery, rugged suspension, and trail-ready sizing—making it a compelling option for anyone shopping for a powerful electric dirt bike in 2026.

Off-road riders will appreciate the Komodo’s wheel and tire setup: a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel, fitted with CST or Maxxis rubber depending on the configuration. Suspension is equally focused on rough terrain, featuring dual-chamber front air forks with 250 mm of travel and a rear air shock with a 90 mm stroke. To help it clear obstacles and handle uneven ground, Talaria equips the Komodo with 315 mm of ground clearance and a 35.8-inch seat height—numbers that signal it’s designed for more than casual trail cruising.

Performance is where the Komodo aims to stand out in the electric off-road segment. Talaria states the bike delivers up to 32 kW of peak power and 754 Nm of peak torque, pushing it to a claimed top speed of 105 km/h (65 mph). Power comes from a 96V 45Ah battery rated at 4.3 kWh. Talaria also advertises up to 115 km (71.5 miles) of range on a single charge, though that figure is based on maintaining a steady 45 km/h (28 mph), which is important to keep in mind when estimating real-world off-road range.

To better match different riding conditions, the Talaria Komodo includes four power modes: eco, sport, hyper, and reverse. It also features a four-level adjustable regenerative braking system, controlled by a dedicated regen button, allowing riders to tune the level of energy recovery and deceleration feel.

For day-to-day usability, the Komodo comes with a TFT LCD display that presents key riding information at a glance. Durability is also a focus, with an IP67 rating for protection against dust and water exposure. Talaria lists a maximum payload capacity of 160 kg (353 lbs), which should suit a wide range of riders and gear setups.

Pricing and availability are straightforward. The Talaria Komodo electric dirt bike is listed at $5,699 and is currently available to buy. Color choices include black, green, and blue.
